Year round home has central air and open floor plan. Every room has beautiful views of the lake. There is a huge deck overlooking 75 ft. of private, lake frontage. The master suite opens onto the deck and hot tub. The kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance and utensil that you would need. Every bedroom has a closet, and the master suite has a walk-in closet. This area of the lake is very clean, making swimming and water sports a pleasure. Fishing is excellent right off the front dock. There is NO SMOKING and NO PETS at this rental property.

While you are staying in the Finger Lakes Region, it is hard to pass up the famous winery tours. Shoppers would enjoy visiting Auburn's new Bass Pro Shop and the nearby Prime Outlets. There are live theater productions at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, and first run movies at two large movie complexes and a drive-in. Hikers would enjoy nearby Filmore Glen State Park or Buttermilk Falls. History buffs could visit the Harriet Tubman Home, the Seward House and the Women's Rights Museum. The nearby quaint town, Skaneateles, offers fine dining, unique shops and relaxing boat tours. An hour away is the Finger Lakes Race Track and its exciting gambling facility. Niagara Falls is only 2 1/2 hours away. One mile from home is a marina and a restaurant - both accessible by boat or car. Sports fans have nearby Nascar tracks, minor league baseball and car shows. Of course you can always just relax at your lakefront paradise and watch the boats, the wild life and the waves lap the shore. Enjoy

Notes: The hot tub is situated under a transparent fiberglass roof, which allows guests to star gaze in all kinds of weather. Roll down curtains are also available for privacy. There are many tour guides, pamphlets and brochures to help the guests choose which attractions they'd like to experience. Guests will find plenty of extra pillows, blankets, bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. There is a start up supply of paper towels, toilet paper and soaps. There are 6 beach chairs, but 2 more are available for the asking.

Georgeous, relaxing getaway

This home is exactly as pictured. Clean, bright and beautiful. We enjoyed plenty of family time on the lake swimming, canoeing, tubing and fishing. We hiked at nearby Fillmore Glen State park and took a trip into Auburn to visit the Bass Pro Shop, which was a big hit with the guys in the family. There is a marina close by that provided boat/canoe rentals and excellent customer service. The area is quiet, rural and full of friendly people. This is probably not the place to go for night life, but an amazing spot for a real get away and family time. We would definitely recommend this rental property to others who wanted to relax, enjoy breathtaking scenery and have a lot of outdoor fun.
Owner's Response: We, the owners, take pride in the cleanliness of our home. Not only is the home sparkling, but there are plenty of linens, towels, blankets and pillows for everyone. There is so much to see and do in the Finger Lakes Region, as well as enjoy all the outdoor activities right here. To top it all off, this is the perfect place to relax and absorb the peace and quiet.

NY state of mind

My wife, son, and the couple we vacation with, stayed here the last week of August. We had a fabulous time, went to Niagra, went to NY state fair, went to zoo in Syracuse, saw a Doubledays ball game in Auburn (fantastic) and rented a pontoon boat from marina maybe a 1/2 mile away. With all this we still found the time to have breakfast on the deck,watching the fish jump, feeding the ducks, and in the early evening watching the farms across the lake fade into dusk as the sun set. The house is very nice, enough facilities that we could all get ready in a short time, plenty of beds to choose from, at no point during our stay did we need something that wasn't there. The table was more than large enough to accomodate all of us, and the tv is huge. We even got to see our beloved Red Sox, cause they were playing the Yankees ( didn't turn out so good for us LOL) The deck was our favorite part of the house, the view is fantastic, and it's very quiet and peaceful ( except when Keith is losing to me in cribbage)
It was one of our best vacations, Artie and the gang

Amazing Lakeside House!

We had a wonderful time at this lake house. The view from the house was absolutely gorgeous, and I highly recommend waking up early to see the sun rise; it was truly breath-taking. From hiking, to wine tasting at multiple wineries, to playing at the state park, to driving to Niagara Falls, to eating good food at Cascade restaurant, to relaxing in the jacuzzi, to watching the animals visit the bird feeder, we had plenty of things to keep us busy. The owner Pat was very nice and made us feel at home. It is a wonderful vacation house.

Wonderful home

The pictures don't do this place justice. It is a beautiful home, fully equipped and immaculate. We stayed in for most dinners and enjoyed the hot tub and the unbelievable view from the deck. Auburn is a short drive (20 minutes away) and has all the amenities: grocery shopping, churches, a mall, fine dining. We would definitely come back to this very lovely home. This is by far one of the nicest vacation rentals that we've ever had.
Owner's Response: I wish we could post even more pictures to let prospective renters know the spaciousness and cleanliness of our home. And the views from the deck are spectacular - giving a clear view of almost the entire lake. These guests from Indiana also enjoyed the local golf courses and fitness centers offering great circuit training.

Relaxing Getaway

We enjoyed a very relaxing stay, especially the hottub. The house is clean and spacious with a great view of the lake. It was a great place to return for dining in and relaxing after visiting the wineries, the Harriet Tubman House and the Seward House.
Owner's Response: If you are looking for a clean, spacious home on the lake, with so many unique attractions close by, come and enjoy what so many other guests have. Enjoy all the amenities this lake home offers.
