Nestled among the Bayberries, this 'Old Nags Head' style house has expansive ocean views. Surround yourself with the relaxing sounds of the ocean while sipping your favorite beverage on the generous covered porch. What a peaceful way to spend a vacation. Ground level has separate entry, game room/kids quarters with TV, VCR, Nintendo 64, stereo, darts, bumper pool and laundry area. Entry level has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, living room, dining area, open kitchen with NEW Stainless Steel Appliances and steps to loft.

Corolla also offers vacationers the Historic Whalehead Club which is open daily for tours AND a Wildlife Nature center with interactive kids activities and many and varying restaurants from Bar-b-cue to fine dining. Located at the northern most end of the Outer Banks, Corolla is private and secluded and offers guests uncrowded, pristine beaches and is truly a Family Vacation Destination.

4WD Access Beaches: Swan Beach - 3 Miles North of the End of the Road. Bayberry Dune is located on the Remote Access beaches at the very northern end of the Outer Banks. You will need a 4x4 vehicle with a good base clearance to access this home.

Outer Banks: The Outer Banks offer a variety of activities for young and old and all are well within driving distance of the town of Corolla. From the great shopping and dining in the town of Duck (about 10 miles from My Blue Heaven) to the quaint town of Manteo with wonderful shops, the NC Aquarium and historic sites, there is something for everyone in the area.

Corolla: There are many things to do in the quaint and family friendly town of Corolla. Climb the historic Currituck Lighthouse and from the top, you can see for miles. Enjoy the many restaurants and wonderful shops offered in the area, or tour the historic Whalehead Club and Corolla Village. Corolla also offers a golf course, movie theater and with your 4x4 vehicle, take a drive up to Carova where the wild Spanish Mustangs still reside.

Great Family Rental

We arrived at the house and were amazed at the views from the covered porch, the picture here does them no justice! The house was very clean and cozy. The kitchen was well-stocked and clean. The bathrooms were very clean and it was nice having a rental with an actual tub. There was plenty of drawers and closet space for clothes and luggage. The only thing that didn't work in the house was the Nintendo 64, but we could of cared less, who wants to play video games when you're at the beach. The outside area of the home was very nice with room for our 3 girls to play. We saw horses everyday and they came within 2 feet of us. They are definately worth the trip. The only thing that could make the house better would be a hot tub on the beautiful covered porch! We will definately be returning in 2009.
