Very recently, the 1920's Atkinson Boot Manufacturing building in gorgeous and quaint Ludington, Michigan was saved from the wrecking ball by architect Richard Craig. This grand building has been turned into brand new luxury lofts that show off twelve foot high ceilings with exposed concrete columns and steel I-beams. What we love most however are the views! This historic building that overlooks Lake Michigan gave the loft full windows of the Ludington Car Ferries and the beautiful Ludington Marina. You walk in the front door and are immediately captured by the view. The unit and all of the furnishings are new. All of the beds offer luxurious 1000 thread count linens, lots of pillows and both cool and warm comforters. The building has a private heated indoor pool and huge hot tub just down the hall as well as a roof top deck. The condo has a modern, fully equipped kitchen with granite bar and a 32' high definition LCD television in the living room.

Ludington, Michigan is located just 1.5 hours north of Grand Rapids, Michigan and a nice 4 hour drive north from Chicago. Or, you can cruise Lake Michigan on the SS Badger car ferry from Manitowoc, Wisconsin straight to Ludington. From Ludington it is 45 minutes North to Manistee casino and 45 minutes South to Michigan Adventure Theme Park. The condo is walking distance from the ferry and it's less than a block to the restaurants and shops downtown. It's just a short walk to one of the best beaches in North America so you don't even need a car. Across the street is the Harbor View Marina where you can take a charter fishing trip or rent slips by the night for your boat.

We had a great time at the Carlson Condo in Ludington! The View of the Harbor and the Badger Ferry Boat out the window is fantastic! The beds are the most comfortable ever, and the condo is so beautiful and full of everything you would ever need. It also has a very nice pool/hot tub and is walking distance to everything in town. We really enjoyed our lunch at Chef John's Bakery and Cafe where everything is homemade (don't miss that!) and PM Steamers Restaurant on the water was excellent too. There is a great Brewery in town called Jamesport Brewing Company too. Scotty's on the outside of town was a good spot to eat too. Of course you can't beat the white sand beaches of the Ludington area! It is a great place to Vacation.

Chris, We really enjoyed staying in your condo with our family from Alaska. There was room for everyone to spread out or be together. We made use of the fully stocked kitchen and indoor pool. The garage parking was nice, too.

Our favorite resturant is Jamesport Brewing Company. The tiramisu is a don't miss and it's only a one block walk, great if you want to enjoy some of their special beers without the worry of driving. We also enjoyed breakfast at Chef John's Bakery and Cafe.
Thanks for the ease of booking and payment. Also the quick deposit refund.

Our stay in the Ludington Harbor View Condo was a new, unprecedented and very spoiling experience. The place is very well situated, next to a marina with a park. It comes complete with amenities not usually found in luxury hotels, including a well equipped kitchen. It is very spacious, well illuminated, and suitable for any weather with the indoor pool and jacuzzi. We appreciated being able to have our dog with us, a treat not usually available in places of this quality. This was our third summer in West Michigan, and by far the best one, thank no doubt to the condo.
