This 2007 custom built, luxury home with long range and valley views is about 30 miles SW of Asheville. The 4200 ft elevation, paved access & close proximity (10 min.) to charming downtown Waynesville makes this private retreat the best option for guests wishing for casual elegance at a great value. The house was designed to display the spectacular views and is equipped with upscale furnishings, high-quality bedding, game room, loft, HDTV and wi-fi access. The gourmet kitchen features stainless steel appliances, gas range/convection oven, granite counters and a butler’s pantry. The floor plan offers several couples or a family maximum privacy. The fireplaces, master bath jacuzzi, expansive deck, & 4 season gardens add to the ambiance. (May and Sept. are the best kept secrets!) We are close to five great golf courses . The entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway is approximately 15 minutes from our doorstep. Biltmore Village is only 30 minutes away.

Views and location: Our high elevation provides cool temperatures and spectacular year round views. The roads (and driveway) leading to our home are paved and well maintained but as is common in the mountains, can be steep in places. In the event of inclement weather, please use caution.

Golf: A golfer's paradise with five courses within 25 minutes, including Laurel Ridge, Maggie Valley, Waynesville Country Club, Lake Junalyska and Springdale.

Activities: 30 minutes from Biltmore Estate, shopping, hiking, tubing, skiing and many other outdoor activities.

Spring in the mountains!

We love to garden and wanted to spend some time at the Biltmore House during the Festival of Flowers. What a wonderful place! We chose Red Maple Ridge as it advertised a 4 seasons approach. When we arrived, there were daffodils everywhere and the view was even better than the photos reflected. If you're looking for an immaculate and high quality vacation home, this is it! Hoping to return in the Fall next year and catch leaf season.

Top quality vacation home-exceeded expectations!

My husband and I are newlyweds and joined his family for our first vacation together at Red Maple Ridge. Everything was top quality... fluffy towels, high thread count sheets, comfortable beds, a designer's kitchen. The decor was wonderful and I liked that it was not dripping in bears and doilies. Instead, it had a nature theme with attention to every detail. The house is designed so that 3 couples can enjoy privacy yet still have plenty of space to gather together. We loved the views & elevation and noticed that Red Maple Ridge was cooler than downtown Waynesville and Asheville; a fact we enjoyed since we wanted to escape the Orlando heat and humidity.

If you are looking for casual elegance, this is the perfect place. We'll be back!

This house is absolutely georgous with every amenity you could need. Custom built home with enough room for 8 easily. If you have young adults in your group there is a game room with several popular games to play. The views are incredible and the neighborhood is very quiet. If you are looking for a vacation home in the mountains this is it. Waynesville is a lovely town with a great bakery/sandwich shop and general store. I highly recommend this vacation home.
