Mendocino House Rental Photos and Description
2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, reading room with convertible sofa, sleeps up to 6
The Corey House is new and luxurious, but what makes the home truly special is its romantic setting. No photograph can convey the beauty you will see and the peace you will feel. Safely situated on a gentle hillside, the house is just a few hundred feet from the ocean. What you will see from the great room is miles and miles of ocean and coastal hills. There are no houses or cars in your view. The house overlooks one of the most beautiful 'Vista Points' in the state.
Completed in 2006, this 1500 sq. ft. house was designed to be a peaceful and serene vacation home, with beautiful ocean views from every room. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house, and each has its own deck. Enjoy the BBQ and picnic table. Relax in the private, 5-person outdoor spa. Use the passkey for the private road to the 5 mile long beach--just a minute away. Watch deer, sheep, donkeys and birds while you cook in the gourmet kitchen. Watch the sunset while you dine. Relax and enjoy the world.
The Wineries of Anderson Valley: On the drive on Highway 128 to the coast and The Corey House, you pass one brewery and a great choice of wineries. Starting in Boonville and ending in Navarro (where the drive through the redwood forest begins), your ten mile scenic drive takes you to the following: Anderson Valley Brewing Company, Zina Hyde Cunningham Winery, Elke Vineyards, Breggo Cellars, Goldeneye Winery, Scharffenberger Cellars, Toulouse Vineyards and Winery, Brutocao Cellars, Navarro Vineyards, Greenwood Ridge Vineyards, Standish Wine Company, Lazy Creek Vineyards, Londer Vineyards and Winery, Husch Vineyards, Roederer Estate, Handley Cellars and Claudia Springs Tasting Room.

Guestbook comments from the owner
Leaving after an extended stay. We are going to think of this very special home every day. The warmth of the interior and the harmony of the outside design with the contours of the landscape give such a peaceful feeling. Every day that we sat on the bluffs overlooking the ocean—counting whales, seals, sea lions—we spoke of what a blessing this house, and its special location on the coast, is. And each day, no matter how spectacular, peaceful, invigorating—we were always in a hurry to get “home” to the Corey home. We will be thinking always of this beautiful serene piece of place.
