Description of the St Margaret's Bay vacation house rental
Ard Na Mara is a newly built home which overlooks the charming Modesty Cove of Indian Harbour. It is the perfect place for a family holiday or romantic getaway. The view is of a typical quiet Nova Scotian cove with colourful fish houses and the occasional fishing boat going past. Large windows give the sense of being on top of the water and make for a bright and spacious open plan on each level. Enjoy the large covered veranda off the living room to take full advantage of the tranquility and nature or enjoy a barbeque and dinner al fresco. The lawn below leads to the waterfront and the gentle shoreline. Ard Na Mara is minutes drive from the famous rocks and lighthouse of Peggy's Cove, and a 20 minute drive to Tantallon where you will find all the amenities. Halifax is a 40 minute drive away. There are several beaches nearby, the closest being Paddy's Head, which is considered one of the best diving locations in Nova Scotia, only a short walk away.
