Evening entertainment from the grandstand - live music or demolition derby. You choose. Check out the summer schedule at the Edwards Opera House. Or come for the St. Lawrence County Blue Grass Festival. Canton Potsdam area - Pretty and smart. Quaint villages with all the small town amenities including a chance to show the kids potential colleges - St. Lawerence University, Clarkson University, SUNY Postdam ATC Canton. Lake Placid...Olympic fame, high peaks of the Adirondacks. Blue Mountain Lake Museum, ride a bob sled. Ottawa Ontario Canada. World renowned international city. Equal distance to Montreal Quebec if you prefer a French flavor. Golf the 1000 Islands Club PGA 18 hole course. Multiple public courses in the county.
Owners Favorite: Canoeing on the lake. There is enough rushing around in my work week life. It's great to look up see a Canada goose, a loon or a merganser busier than I am.
