Villa Lucia is a beautifully appointed and landscaped private vacation home in a quiet cul-de-sac in Sabal Harbour. It is furnished in a modern and vibrant Florida style with original artwork and luxurious touches. The villa is well-equipped for children and families and everyone enjoys the private heated pool and tub with extensive lakeview which is not overlooked by any other properties. Villa Lucia has an enviable situation in Sabal Harbour, adjacent to the free tennis courts, play park, volleyball and basketball court and community pool yet tucked into an undisturbed cul-de-sac with very private rear lake views. Sabal Harbour is just over ten minutes from the Prime Ellenton outlet, 2 minutes from an array of grocery stores, restaurants and amenities and 15 minutes from the white sand beaches of Lido, Siesta Keys and Anna Maria Island. Our home has everything for the discerning vacationer and we pride ourselves on its upkeep.

Villa Lucia is in Sabal Harbour in Bradenton, Manatee County just north of Sarasota- Florda's cultural capital. It is 5 mins drive west of I75 providing convenient access to the rest of the state as well as a short drive further west to any number of the Gulf Coast's beautiful white sandy beaches- all of which have parking. Sabal Harbour is an excellent community for families and snow birds and all our neighbours are friendly and welcoming. The beauty of Sabal Harbour's location is its sheltered spot (from passing hurricanes!) and its proximity to the the shops, restaurants and amenities that you might need. If you don't bring your laptop for use with our free broadband, you can go to the local library (2 minutes) for unlimited free Internet access. But if you are going on vacation to get away from work then browse our collection of information leaflets and choose from hundreds of places to visit nearby! If you want a Disney visit, Orlando is an easy 1hr 45mins drive north east.

We very much enjoyed our vacation at this property. We found it to be clean, well equipped and well maintained. It very much suited our party of 6 (grandparents, parents, a toddler and an infant).
However we were disappointed with the pool heating. The adjoining spa was adequately heated, however the water temperature of the swimming pool was lower than we expected for a heated pool. I would estimate that the pool temperature did not rise above the low 70's, which had the effect of discouraging it's use.
Also, the travel time to beaches was longer than we had anticipated, certainly more than the 10-15 minutes claimed, however this was not a major inconvenience.
All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay, and with the exception of the items mentioned we would not hesitate to book this property again or recommend it to others.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities
Owner's Response: I'm glad that this party found Villa Lucia clean, welcoming and enjoyable- this is the service we strive for. Our pool heating is now set at a comfortable average temperature but individual preferences do vary. If you wish to have a higher or lower temperature during your stay then our local agents will happily adjust this for you. The beaches are 20 minutes plus drive (depending on which beach you visit)- we have never claimed any less. We thank R.M. for taking the time to post his comments.
