Great House, Great Location!

Stayed over a week for Spring Break w/family and friends. We treasure our vacation time, are very picky about where we stay, and don't tolerate 'surprises'. The house and location was everything as advertised--and more! If there were any surprises, they were only the good kind. Interesting combination of a luxury home balanced with the warmth and comfort of a lodge. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate to spend lots of beach time, but the sweeping view from the main floor sure made us feel like we were on the beach!
Just a few of the highlights we loved...large kitchen w/2 ovens, plenty of dishes and flatware to suit large group, big dining table for meals and games--kids at one end, adults at the other w/o bothering each other, two comfy rockers staring out across the horizon, comfy living furniture, wood-burning fireplace, comfy beds, plenty of bathrooms, plenty of towels, great kids bedroom for tweens/teens to hang out for hours, main floor bedroom for grandpa w/o worry of steps. My favorite place was the top deck (when the weather had calmed), standing at the rail feeling like Jack & Rose on Titanic, you could imagine yourself on the front of a ship with only the ocean at your feet, feeling like you're 'the king of the world'!!.
Loved working with Jenifer, she really made us feel welcomed. So greatful she takes such good care of her beautiful home and those fortunate enough to stay in it. We'll definitely be back again. Though I'm recommending to Jenifer that she offer a 'guaranteed sunshine' package for an extra fee. That said, anyone who wants to visit the Oregon Coast in Spring knows there's no such guarantee...and watching the storms from the comfort of this cozy house is also spectacular !!
