Located in the 350 acre premier gated community of Twin Rivers, The Cherry Tree Lodge sits adjacent to the Watauga River with no house in sight. Tucked into the dense mountain forest the lodge offers a peaceful secluded getaway making it hard to ever leave. The lodge boasts a rustic, modern architecture with two and half story ceilings, fully equipped modern kitchen and the latest high end furnishings. Easy entrance with kitchen, bedrooms and baths located on main floor. Large loft area with 360 degree outdoor view furnished with Plasma TV and plenty of books to enjoy after a long day enjoying the High Country. Outdoors, a large covered porch is the best place to eat lunch or dinner and observe the diverse wildlife on the property. The outdoor patio with in ground fire pit is the perfect place to roast marshmallows and relax by a warm fire. If you enjoy hiking, then jump on one of the many trails in the neighborhood and head up to Price Lake Park or Grandfather Mountain.

Cherry Tree Lodge is located in the heart of the Foscoe Community. Turn off HWY 105 into the gated Twin Rivers development approx. 5 miles outside of Boone. Continue on Hwy 105 another 5 miles and arrive at Tynecastle where you turn towards Sugar Mtn. and Banner Elk and Beech Mtn. The famous Valle Crucis area is exactly 2 miles away. Don't miss the general store and the Candy Barrel. Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns, Tweetsie Railroad, Blowing Rock and The Blue Ridge Parkway are all just minutes away.

Cherry Tree Lodge- Excellent Choice

Cherry Tree Lodge was an excellent choice for our extended stay for the following reasons:

1. Secure wireless internet allowed both my husband and me to continue working while we were there.
2. The driveway was easily manageable for our motorcycles and it was nice to be so near the entrance of Twin Rivers.
3. The home was clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked- I didn't lack for anything.
4. The fire pit was wonderful. Great for roasting marshmallows and just sitting around it to talk about the day.
5. The soaking tub in the master bathroom was a hit after a long day of hiking.
6. Location, Location, Location! Being right off of Hwy. 105 and between Boone and Banner Elk is great. Once you enter the gates of Twin Rivers you feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere but the everything you need- including the grocery store is just down the road.
7. Twin Rivers is a gorgeous gated community. The fast flowing streams and hiking trails are great.
8. The owner's are wonderful and very accomodating.

We would not hesitate to rent this cabin again!

Our weekend at Cherry Tree Lodge was the highlight of our summer! This secluded gem is beautiful, clean and exceptionally well-stocked. Comfortable beds, fresh linens, plenty of room (inside and out) and a bright, modern kitchen made time in and around the house a joy. Our kids (8 and 9) found lots to explore on the property whenever they weren't huddled near the fabulous outdoor firepit. The architecture and grounds were a pleasure to come home to after a long day hiking the many wonderful area trails. When a find ourselves planning a trip to the mountains again, Cherry Tree Lodge will definitely be our destination.

Our Stay in the Boone/Blowing Rock Area

My family and I recently spent a week at Cherry Tree Lodge and it was fabulous. Making arrangements to stay at the house was issue free and went off without a hitch. The area in which the home resides is beautiful and very very private. The home is exactly as pictured. It is beautifully decorated and truly does contain everything you possibly could want. My personal favorite was the front porch and looking out over the land in the rocking chairs they provide. My husband enjoyed the fire pit, which we utilized every night. Of course my son loved the loft where he watched TV and he played videos most of the week. I enjoyed the kitchen and did more cooking that week, than I typically do in my own home. Although we did not venture out too much, we did enjoy trips to Blowing Rock, which we loved; Hickory (looking for furniture and fabric); Grandfather Mountain; hiking at Prince Lake; driving the Blue Ridge Parkway; visiting Moses Cone Memorial Park, and the Mast General Store. The weather was very comfortable and we kept imagining how nice it would be to stay there in the Fall. The home was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Wireless internet service is available and did not face any issues making a connection. The owners did a great job with the house! I would strongly recommend it for anyone wishing to stay in the Boone/Blowing Rock area.

Our family reunion at Cherry Tree Lodge

Our family reunion experience was incredible. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, clean and well supplied. No need to bring anything but the clothes on your back! We loved everything about the area, a very private secure location. The landscape is beautiful, the fire pit and veranda around the house picture perfect. We loved cooking family meals in the beautiful kitchen and the kids enjoyed the game area in the loft. The beds are very comfortable and large enough for our big family. The interior design is out of a magazine and gives a lovely home feeling. I could move in right now and not make one change! We hope to visit often from California! Thanks to Amy, the perfect host, she was available at any time for questions and assistance if needed. We loved the area, the town of Boone is beautiful and rafting was lots of fun for the entire family. I travel all over the country for work, and felt that this was one of the best accomodations I have ever had the pleasure to experience. Thanks Amy and family for sharing! Patty
