Three levels of decks offer breathtaking views of Lake Michigan and downtown Chicago. Top level has a wrap around covered porch with glass for unobstructed views. Wide plank wood floors on all other levels and in guest bedrooms. 5 bedrooms total and 4 with private bath. A spectacular master suite offers a stunning marble fireplace, whirlpool tub and separate shower. The sitting room just outside the master bedroom has an additional gas fireplace and a wet bar with a built-in Miele Espresso Maker for your morning coffee. We were a party of 14, including six children ages 3, 5, 5, 6, 7 and 12. This home was an excellent accomodation for this group. The children enjoyed the home as well as the access to the beach and the pool at Beachwalk resort.

The kitchen was a dream, and we all enjoyed preparing meals in it. The dining room was lovely, and the view of the lake was terrific.

We would have rated the home as excellent, except for the difficult driveway leading to the garage and the hairpin turn on the road leading to the front of the home. A low riding car cannot get near the house without scraping the drive.
Recommended for:  Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
