South Haven Vacation Rental house

The property owners are wonderful. We were allowed to bring our 3, well-behaved dogs. It is quiet with plenty of space between the houses. The view of the lake is superb! Awesome breeze off teh lake comes through front and side windows. All windows are rather large. Also, easy access to the lake either straight down the bank (relatively steep) or via a short walk down a flat lane several properties over.
The only thing we didn't like about this property is that although we both appreciate art, the art decor in this place is gaudy. And there is a huge variety of it, unfortunately. We tried to keep an open mind at first, but we ended up feeling like we couldn't really relax in the house because there is so much of it and it is all art that depicts "energy" with bright colors...oddly combined even. I spent most of my relaxing time outside in the hammock on the porch which is wonderful. We could not see gaudy art in the pictures on the posting.
We also were not too happy about the house being dirty. We could tell they thought they had cleaned, but only the basic areas were wiped down. Bathrooms, bedrooms and living room just not nearly as clean as we are used to.
