Casa Sarteano in Tuscany... 'Your Tuscany Home-Away-From-Home.'

Sarteano is a jewel in a region rich with history, culture, and unparalleled natural beauty. It’s a small town vibrant and charming with a friendly spirit that welcomes all of it’s guests as one of its own. It overlooks the Orcia Valley in southern Tuscany, recently made a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is conveniently located in Southern Tuscany to give tourists a home base from which to discover Tuscany

Casa Sarteano, is our spacious 100sqm. third floor apartment which has been professionally restored and tastefully decorated. Seven large windows surround the apartment overlooking the historical town on one side and overlooking the beautiful Tuscany countryside on the other. The home also features its own private veranda that overlooks a neighboring courtyard below and the Tuscan countryside in the distance, a wood burning fire place and rustic wooden beam ceilings.

I stayed at Casa Sarteano for one week with my husband and our two children (ages 12 and 10) July 2010. We absolutely loved the apartment, the town, the food, the pool and the surrounding area. It was easy to rent a car in the nearby town of Chiusi and it was very easy to get around. The restaurants in town are all FANTASTIC. Can't say enough good things are Sarteano. Hope to go back to Sarteano one day and actually stay at Casa Sarteano again.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

We and some friends stayed at Casa Sarteano in June, 2008 for a week. It was a wonderful place from which we went exploring everyday. The town is quaint and charming, but has everything you need, including outstanding restaurants. The apartment was lovely, comfortable, and very clean. Perfect for 4 adults! We really enjoyed our stay there and would love to go back some time. We would highly recommend this property to anyone.
