A charming 4 - 6 bedroom Villa with Pool that is nestled on a private hillside acre on the northern slope of Martineau Hill on the unspoiled island of Vieques, with 180 degree views of the Atlantic Ocean, Puerto Rico and Culebra. The house is designed to combine indoor and outdoor living, having 3800 square feet of interior living space with high ceilings, lots of windows and great tropical breezes. The entrance level contains a large foyer, laundry room, additional bedroom and bath. A center staircase takes you up to the second level foyer that leads to an open living room and dining room with adjacent kitchen, den with TV, master bedroom with bath plus 3 guest bedrooms and 2 baths. The dining room and master bedroom open on to a large comfortable balcony for relaxation and great views. In addition, located on the lower level, there is an additional 1100 sq. ft of covered outdoor living where you can have cocktails, cook a meal and dine, or just relax reading a book by the pool.

Journey's End: Our charming Villa is situated on a private hillside acre in Martineau section with great views of Puerto Rico and Culebra. There is 3800 sq. ft. of interior living space plus 1100 sq. ft of covered outdoor living, cooking and dining located adjacent to the pool. Located mid island between Espiranza and Isabel II with a short drive to pristine beaches.

Vieques is the Caribbean as it was 50/60 years ago with crystal clear waters, numerous sandy beaches where often you are the only people there. Definitely the place to get away from it all. Vieques is unique in that 70% of the island is in the U. S. Fish and Wild Life Preserve. The island is 252 miles long by 4 miles wide with a population of 10,000.

The interior is decorated in comfortable Caribbean elegance with all modern conveniences. The house is fully equipped with all new furniture, appliances, linens, beach chairs, towels and just about anything else that you may need. Just bring your clothes, CDs & DVDs and books.

Golf: Although there is no golf course on Vieques, there are several on the east end of the main island of Puerto Rico. Fajardo a 10 minute, $44 R/T flight on Vieques Air Link. At the Fajardo Airport, you can take a Taxi or rent a car at World Car Rental.

We recently spent a wonderful week in Vieques at the Schwartz house. What a view they have! One can see much of Vieques as well as the islands across the water. The house is decorated with great taste but is also very comfortable. The bedrooms are all good size with plenty of bathrooms, including a fabulous outdoor bathroom. We had a wonderful time there and would definitely return to this great house and to Vieques.

My sister and her husband invited me to join them and their family for a week at Journey's End. I never heard of Vieques and actually had to google it.
The house is breathtaking and completely furnished. Meticulously clean. I can't say enough about Karen, the caretaker and her quick response to anything we needed.

We are so pleased with our stay at Journey's End from. Everything we needed for our stay was provided even for my 2 year old who used the booster chair and loved the beach toys. The views of Puerto Rico and Culebra were lovely from the balcony and the villa is centrally located on the island. I have already recommended this villa to friends and we just got home last week!

"Journeys End" is an absolutely fabulous villa!! It is elegantly decorated yet easily manageable. The owners have thought of everything from the fully stocked kitchen to plenty of beach towels and chairs. The views are spectacular ~ The pool and outside veranda are perfect for either a good read or a get together with friends. It is very convienently located (ten minutes to everything) ~ Vieques is a wonderful Island ~ The best beaches we have seen in a long time. This was our first visit and we will be back!! Thank you
