Cottage, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4-6)

Private home across from the beach. Relax on the deck, in the yard or on the beach feeling the ocean breezes while being close to everything. Everything for the active or passive vacationer - bike, hike, fish, travel to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket for the day, visit the antique shops on Rt. 28 or 6A or stay at home and read, sunbathe and have a cocktail on the deck.

This house is outfitted for your comfort, relaxed and unpretentious. Local seafood abounds - cook in or barbecue on the gas or charcoal grill. Our current list of renters includes many who have been coming back for up to 11 years. Centrally located and reasonably priced.

About Tim Doehner

I began visiting the Cape in 1971 and during most of the 80s and 90s camped at Nickerson State Park every Fall. Now that we own, we look forward to retiring there someday.

It's such a close walk to the beach and a short drive to everything else. In 20 minutes, we can be in Hyannis or Chatham.

There is nothing pretentious about our cottage. We have made constant improvements over the years to make sure it is clean, comfortable and has most modern conveniences.

My family of 5 throughly enjoyed our stay. We wanted a beach vacation without any frills and we got it. The beach is across the street- not visible from the cottage- but beautiful just the same.Relaxed to the sun and water, then later, enjoyed the Cape's atmosphere and food. I was a little nervous about no air-conditioning but even though the days were hot, the nights were cool and all the fans did the trick.I should have brought my lobster pot-will do in the future-but the clams we steamed were delicious. The kitchen was very well stocked with supplies-thanks.When dining out-Swan River Restaurant..LobsterBoat and Kreme and Cone..a must! Love Cinnamon Sticks and Candlewicks for unique gifts! All in all..the place was cottage venue and perfect for us!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
