House, 3 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)

Portage Lake, Onekama, Michigan, located 10 miles north of Manistee, is 2300 acres of clean clear water, with deep water access to Lake Michigan. It is an all sport lake with great fishing for perch, bluegill, bass, northern pike, and walleye to name a few. The view from the great room and large front sun room is beautiful. The house sits on 93 feet of lake frontage with approximately 40 feet of sandy beach, the drop off is very gradual, 200 feet off shore it is less than 3 feet deep.

There is dock for a small fishing boat, or larger boat for short term tie-up. If you plan to bring your own boat, we have a mooring that you can tie up to a 20' boat. Excellent restaurants, an ice cream shop and stores are within walking distance of this beautiful location. The boat ramp and public park with a playground are just a few houses away. There are many very good golf courses within a short drive.

We require a signed rental agreement to reserve your stay.

WE have stayed at this cottage several times and absolutely love it!! Very clean and all the convenience of home. It is a walk away from groceries and a bike ride or short car ride to the beach at Lake Michigan. You are close to the water and feel like your sitting next to it when you're in the porch.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
