awesome spring break experience!

My friends and I spent our spring break here and had a wonderful experience!!! The house had plenty of room for all us, there were plenty of linens and kitchen appliances, and the fenced in pool area was nice during the cooler/windier days. The house is literally steps away from the beach access and we had tons of space on the beach to ourselves. It's only about a 10-15 min drive from PCB, so you can still go out down town without staying in such a crowded area. Matt was so friendly and pleasant to work with. We had such a great time :) I would recommend this property to everyone!!!

Pakanalis Rocked!! :)

I came with a group of friends for spring break. It was nice being in a house that fit our large group. The location is great! The house is right across the street from a beautiful white sand, private beach. The house was neat and clean upon arrival. It was great having our own pool/patio area. Although the pool was a bit chilly to use for the time of year we came, it was nice to be able to lay out on the lounge chairs in a fenced in area. Matt is super friendly and welcoming and made sure everything was perfect for our stay at his home. Definitely recommend renting this house!! :)

Perfect location and house!

I went with a group of 13 spring breakers! We had so much fun! The house is right across from the beach and it 10 min. outside of downtown PCB! The location was great for those spring breakers who are looking for a more low key vacation!! MUST RENT :)

Very nice!

Matt was nice enough to let my friends and I use his house for our spring break. The house is much bigger in person than pictures can show and is beautiful. The outside pool, table with chairs,and grill were very accommodating as well as the outside bathroom. A short walk away from the beach, we were able to come back to the house for lunch or the bathroom at our convenience. Matt is the BEST landlord and is extremely welcoming. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Pakanalis: Where Our Family Has Made Many Memories

My family has had the privilege of staying at the Pakanalis every June for the past 10 years. We have so many memories at this place. We always have the best time and look forward to returning every year. The location, layout and amenities are wonderful - from the huge private pool right out the back door to the beautiful view of the "private" beach directly across the street to the layout of the house. I find it surprising to read the recent review. Matt does a fantastic job making sure the house is well maintained and cleaned. I've never had a bad experience there and definitely haven't seen things as was described in the previous review regarding bugs, mold, etc. Looking forward to June 2014!! Thank you, Matt for sharing your home with us!

STAY AWAY! "WORST EXPERIENCE EVER"!!!!

“WORST EXPERIENCE EVER IN PCB” NEVER 2 RETURN! There are much better properties w/better amenities in PCB area. Listed below is a copy/paste last email I received from the property owner. I have not been reimbursed for other misc. items as noted. Owner: Mr Ash Your deposit has been returned. I also sent you via PayPal the amount you said you spent on cleaning and the shower curtins. I contacted the group that was there Aug 29 to July 5. They had no issues with bugs of any kind. The pest control person was there the afternoon you left. He found no evidence of bedbugs or any other bugs. I spoke with the renter right after you (July 13-20). Had a great time. No bedbugs. As far as I'm concern there is nothing to resolve. Matt My Response: Well of course the previous tenants had no problems, they left the place looking like a pig sty and of course there were no bed bugs, we exterminated them for you and cleaned the entire house wiping all walls, lighting, ceiling fan blades, hvac vents, scrubbing floors, washed every piece of linen including the "Bodily Fluids" found on the master bedroom bed sheets, cleaned all the furniture, disposed of the 5 gallon bucket of Urine sitting next to the back door that we found when we arrived, beer bottles, alcohol bottles, cigarette butts, cleaned the mold off the walls in the pool room bath, scrubbed all showers covered in black mold, toilets, replaced shower curtains, table cloths, well yeah, I would say your next group of guest were more than pleased with the clean accommodations of the beach house. On top of that the Internet did not work until Thursday and that was only because I contacted them directly to help push the repair. Seriously, wifi is as necessary as toilet paper these days.Our entire family had to clean our ass off and live in unfit conditions for 2 days of our stay. We should have just called you and told you we wanted our money back the first minute we got there but where did we have to go. I have never arrived to any property in the Panama City Beach area that was just so disgusting and unclean. Had we not been confronted with the compilation of unexpected issues, I am sure we would have had a great time and enjoyed your property, but under the circumstances there is no way in "Heck" I would ever return to this property for any reason. Your lack of involvement and concern with our immediate problems leads our entire family to believe your credibility is lacking moral fiber.

Owner's Response: If I ever walk into a rental property as you describe, I would not have stayed one night. I have been renting this house since I bought it in 2007. Never a problem. Have had the same cleaning company. No complaints. Every now and then I get the caliber of rental like yourself. Stay the whole week, complain and demand money back. Not happening. Check out all previous reviews sir. You think anyone is going to believe you ? Here is what a Exterminating Company said about your bed bugs. ™ ™ Inspection Date: 7/30/2013 To: Matt Gonzalez RE: Bed Bug Inspection (Pakanalis) 21308 Front Beach Road Panama City Beach Florida, 32413 Please be advised that our company was hired by your property manager to inspect the above property for bed bugs. The following areas for the front and back beach houses were inspected: bed spreads, bed linings, mattresses, pillows, laundry areas, patios, walls, ceilings, bathrooms, kitchens, bed frames, window seals, crack & crevices, pool house, pool kitchen, closets, storage pantries and furniture. No active, or, dormant signs of bed bugs were found to be inhabiting the property. Most likely any irritating bite would have been obtained from the native marsh gnat (often referred to by lay people as No-see-ums). These pest are native to the area and are found outside. They often produce bites which appear similar to Bed Bugs. However, this property does not have any bed bugs present, nor could any other biting infestation be located. Therefore, the marsh gnat is the most likely culprit. Should you need anything else please do not hesitate to call. Kind regards, Team Nixit®
