The house is conveniently located less than a 5-minute walk to Front Beach (0.2 miles) & train station (0.2 miles, and you will be in Boston in an hour). Downtown shops & restaurants are a 5-minute walk down the street (0.35 miles to Bearskin Neck). The home interior is beautifully & freshly renovated, and fully & tastefully furnished. The bedrooms have new mattresses & comfy bedding. The sunny, eat-in kitchen is fully equipped and has a bay window, cherry wood cabinets & granite counter top/breakfast bar, brand-new stainless appliances & in-sink water filter. The 2 full bathrooms are all new, with new fixtures & tile. Plenty of light and refinished hardwood floors throughout. Relax on the deck, with outdoor furniture & a gas BBQ grill. Enjoy whale watching, sailing, sunset boat cruising, deep sea fishing & kayak tours. Visit the Rockport Art Association to see exhibits of local artists, the Rockport Chamber Music Festival--new oceant front Shalin Liu Performance Center--and walk on trails in Halibut State Park with sweeping ocean views and beautiful quarries. Tour the Cape Ann Historical Museum and Hammond Castle in Gloucester. Take scenic drives in Essex, Ipswich & Newburyport, and go antiquing along the way. Visit the Salem Witch Museum & Peabody Essex Museum within 35 min drive. Hop on the train for a day trip to Boston- 1 hour away.

What a find!

We couldn’t have asked for a better house! The owners really have thought through all of the details and supply everything you will need for a family vacation: beach towels and chairs, washer and dryer, plenty of dishes and all of the essential utensils and cookware for cooking in, wi-fi (for those of us who take our work with us!), children’s books (my 4 year old daughter was so pleased!), and an excellent Weber grill on the back deck for BBQing. Air conditioners in each room made everyone very happy, as it was hot during our stay! Large, private yard was a fun place for a young family to play. Very easy, 5 minute walk to Front Beach, which is just right for children and adults alike -- we went every day it was so convenient!

This lovely home offers many amenities. It's very clean, nicely appointed, well-equipped, and has a great location within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, and Front Beach. The location also offers quiet and privacy. We highly recommend it!

This house has it all!

This is my third summer in Rockport and my third house. I have finally found a keeper. This house is beautifully furnished, comfortable, and clean. It is in a wonderful location, an easy walk into town and to the town beach. The air conditioning works well in all of the rooms (Don't let owners tell you you don't need air conditioning in Rockport. It has been incredibly hot here every year I have come). To top it all off the landscaping makes this house feel private, which is unusual in this densely populated part of Rockport. Overall, this is a thoroughly comfortable house. I have already booked my week for next year.

Great Rockport Rental

My family and I consisting of 6 adults and 2 small children just spent a wonderful week in this well eqipped and immaculate house in the center of Rockport.

Rockport has it all, a beach, lovely shops and restaurants, a terrific fish store, scenic walks, and an amazing performance center.

I look forward to a return visit to this very well cared for property.

Great Rockport Rental

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this clean, comfortable, centrally located house in Rockport. There is an excellent, updated, well stocked kitchen. The grill worked nicely, Beds were very comfortable. The AC units worked well.
The house is walking distance to family beach and quaint Bearskin Neck area.
We will definitely be back.
