Home has over 3400 sq. ft. plus 2 covered decks with 4+ bedrms, 3.5 bths, sleeps 12 people, 2 living areas, refrigerator, ice maker, cooking utensils provided, dishwasher, stone fireplace, whirlpool tub, phone, satellite TV, VHS/DVD, linens, washer/dryer, gas BBQ grill and a gradual path leading to private dock. Rental includes kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, & ski boat equipped w/ tube, skis, ropes, trolling motor. Main Level: Kitchen, living area, dining area, master suit with king bed, 1.5 bath, washer/dryer, covered deck. Upper Level: 2 bedrooms w/ queen beds, twin & futon in an open loft overlooking living area, 1 bath.     60 day cancellation policy: Should cancellation occur outside the 60 days, deposit will be refunded less a one night cancellation charge. Should cancellation occur within the 60 days, the deposit becomes nonrefundable.

Most homes on Lake Nantahala have a steep set of several dozen steps down to the lake. Our home has a very gradual path of about 50 ft from the house to the dock. Halfway down the short path to the lake is our Lakeside deck and Fire Pit. When renting a Lake Front home on Lake Nantahala make sure to ask the number of steps to the lake. Many homes on the lake have over 100 steps down a steep bank. Also, make sure you have a private dock and not a community dock shared with many other families. There are many homes that claim to be lakefront but are really lake view with a community dock for lake access.

Love Lake Nantahala

This was one of our favorite vacations of all time. The area is absolutely beautiful and the view from the house is great. We really had no desire to leave the house the entire seven days we were there. We spent many days on the water (tubing, skiing, kneeboarding, canoeing, kayaking). I will return to Lake Nantahala in the future. The owner and employees at their company were very kind, the house is awesome.

Lake Vacation

What a wonderful place. Lake Nantahala is one of the two most beautiful places we have ever visited. Lake Tahoe is still number one. The home is very well equiped and the owners are great to work with. I would recomend this home to anyone looking to get away from it all. Cell phones do not work at the Lake but you can travel about 5 minutes down the mountain and get a signal.
The boat was a added bonus. We had rented before and had to rent boats. Having one at the dock all week was great.

Spent a week and should have a month. Caught 15 Walleyes, couple browns and over 50 Small mouth. Boat worked great and fishing maps were helpful. No complaints except to short of a trip. See you next year.

Mom asked me to write this review of our trip to the mountains. There were nine in our family group. Including four from our family my grandmother,aunt uncle and cousins. We had a blast. The house was cool. We had a pool table match every night. The winner got to be first on the tube the next day. Some of us went white water rafting one day. That was way cool. I told Mom we need to either move there or go back every year. The bunk room was the kids kingdom. No adults allowed. My cousins and I played cards till 2 in the morning most nights. I love them very much and we all promised to meet there every year even after we grow up.
