Walk your dog to the leash-free beach from this salt box house in the sleepy end-of-the road village of Dillon Beach. Enjoy the spectacular views of Tomales Bay, Pt. Reyes National Seashore and the Pacific Ocean. Wine country and San Francisco are just an hour away. Lots of great food is close by, including the Tomales Bay shellfish restaurants in Marshall and Pt. Reyes Station, and the many fine eateries of Bodega Bay. Your house is fully furnished, and has a fireplace, cable TV, DVD and a large deck. If you're looking for water sports, shopping, sightseeing or just plain relaxing, you can't beat the village of Dillon Beach, Marin County's hidden gem.

It sits at the end of the road, just 3 miles off Hwy. 1. Within an hour's drive you'll find San Francisco, wine country and many beautiful beach communities like Pt. Reyes Station, Inverness, Stinson Beach, Bolinas, Bodega Bay, Jenner and Fort Ross. Or, head inland, and within an hour you'll find Sausalito, Mill Valley and all the other beautiful Marin County towns, as well as Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Sebastopol and many other charming Sonoma County locations. Fishing, diving, surfing and boating are all available in Dillon Beach as well as many other nearby towns.

Heaven on Earth

Every year our family comes to Dillon Beach for a family reunion celebration we have always rented the same houses an had a fabulous time. This year our family grew and we had too look for one more house. We rented Seven Shells and it was perfect.

We found it clean, fresh and even more inportant my dogs were welcome. Next year we will definately be including this house in our reunion celebration. In fact if everyone can't come next year we'll rent it because it was one of the newer homes we've stayed in.

We highly recomend it.

Perfection

I have four dogs and it is always difficult to get away without leaving them or attempting to sneak them in. The owners welcomed all our dogs with open arms saying they had dogs of their own.

When we entered the house we were shocked that the house could smell so fresh and clean with dogs coming and going all the time. Our vacation was perfect and relaxing we will be back again next year.

The dogs give it their woof of approval too!

Not a pleasant experience at Dillon Beach Cal.

After viewing website pictures and information which we felt showed the home to be satisfactory, we spoke to the broker who told us it was a well looked after, older, attractive, very clean home, so we then sent the requested deposit. Upon arrival, we were instead greeted with a very old, and what we felt was a run down home, and not at all what we expected. Rather than stay there or at the alternate premises offered us, which was also unsatisfactory, we requested return of our deposit from the broker, and were told that our request would be discussed with the owner. We then left for more suitable lodging. No word from the owner or the broker in almost a month. We can not honestly recommend this home as described in it's advertisement, and in fact feel that we were mislead as to the condition of the house.
Owner's Response: These renters never went in our house. When they saw that the house was 2 stories, they said that they could not walk upstairs and so they would not rent the house.

The property manager showed them several single story properties, but they did not like any of those either and eventually left Dillon Beach completely.

They had not requested a single story home or inquired about how many stories our house had.

I find it hard to believe that they could determine what they claim to know about our house from looking at it from the outside only.

We have mainly repeat renters, which is an indication of how well liked our house is. It is one of the newer houses in the village of Dillon Beach and is very well maintained and always very clean.
