ENJOY MICHIGAN!!! Half way between Chicago and Detroit. In the heart of WINE COUNTRY. QUIET, PEACEFUL, RELAXING, & CLEAN. Get away from it all on Beautiful, All sports EAGLE LAKE!! This spacious summer cottage is located on one of Southwest Michigan's cleanest lakes, Eagle Lake in Paw Paw, Michigan. Eagle Lake is 198 acre spring-fed all sports lake. It sits on a double lot with 80 feet of waterfront. The beautiful living room has 3 giant picture windows overlooking the lake. 3 large bedrooms. Master has king size bed and overlooks the lake, 2nd has queen size bed and third bedroom has twin beds. Beautiful gas log fireplace for the romantics. The beachfront is sandy and great for swimming. Fishing boat is provided. Blue gills are plentiful. There is also a boat launch available to bring your own watercraft. Firepit is ready for bonfires and roasting marshmallows. In the heart of WINE & GRAPE country. Nationally acclaimed St Julian winery and others nearby offer FREE wine tasting and tours 364 days a year. Also close by are the fun and exciting Flea Markets filled with lost treasures and great buys. The area boasts plentiful roadside fruit and vegetable roadside stands. 15 minutes away there is: The Kalamazoo Air Zoo and Museum, open daily; Kalamazoo Museum showcases the area's past, present, and future with many hands-on experiences; on Weekends the area offers Flea markets, Kalamazoo's Bronson Park has weekly music and art fairs all summer. The Kal-Haven trail is great for hikers and bicyclist who like to trek 30 miles each way from Kalamazoo to South Haven which is home to the shores of Lake Michigan and weekly celebrations. Formula K offers go-carts, paint ball, miniature golf, and batting cages. These are but a few of the many exciting day trips near by.

Boating: Fishing row boat provided (no motor). Boat Launch and dock are available. 198 acre all-sports lake ready for the jet skis, water skis, and pontoon boats. Eagle lake is a spring fed lake, and is known as an excellent fishing lake.

Golfing, Wineries, Theatres, Flea Markets, Go Cart: Lake Cora Golf Club is 7 miles away, Marks Golf driving range is 7 miles away, and indoor golf is 15 miles away.. The St. Julian and Warner wineries are nationally acclaimed and ready to host wine-making tours and tasting. The 'theater' district in Paw Paw has recent releases for $3 a show and the Hartford drive in can take the whole family for one low price! If shopping for bargains is your pleasure don't miss the week end flea markets full of treasures. At Formula K in Mattawan 15 minutes away there are go-carts, bumper cars, bumper boats, batting cage, and miniature golf.

Day Trips: Kal-Haven trail for hiking or biking is less than 30 minutes away. The 30 mile trail is groomed and paved for a nice trip to South Haven and the shores of Lake Michigan. If aviation sends you soaring, check out the Kalamazoo Air Museum for an experience you won't soon forget. While in Kalamazoo the Kalamazoo Museum offers local information on past, present, and future Kalamazoo notables with many hands on experiences.

My family stayed her for a week in July. It was so clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. This place is in great shape. It really was like a home away from home. We highly recommend it.

This home is an asset to any vacation renter. It was clean and cool, even without air conditioning. The kitchen is very large with all the dishes, pots & pans, and utencils you could ever need. The beds & linens were very comfortable for a rental! The lake was crystal clear, and full of fish...right off the dock. My girls loved swimming because of the sandy bottom by the shore. It was very quiet during the week, and not to bad on the weekends. I would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation. The homeowners were very accommodating and my deposit check was returned within the first week of returning home.

Clean cottage, nicely furnished

My family of 4 stayed at this cottage for the first time this summer. After we arrived, we knew we were in the right place! Every room was clean and appealing. The lake was nice and we enjoyed the intertubes that the owners left out for us to use. The bedrooms were big and well appointed. We will be renting it again next year and highly recommend it to others. Kerry and Peggy from Hammond IN.
