There are walking/cross-country skiing trails throughout the property and within two miles there is a boat launch, golf course (Cherry Hills), two excellent restaurants (Birmingham's and Schartner's on the Shore), and snowmobiling trails. It is setup great for entertaining guests and can accommodate one couple or sleeps up to eight.

This is not a "dog" house!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. We are both artistic people and loved the uniqueness of this house. It has the log cabin feel inside with lots of artistic detail. I love the old spiral staircase & the big upstairs window. The master bedroom is awesome with its comfortable bed, large two person hot tub, and wood burning fireplace. It is very secluded and quiet. A great retreat for those looking to get away to someplace that's NOT like home! :)
