LUXURY TOWNHOUSE IN THE WORLD FAMOUS MAUNA LANI

What a week of enjoyment !! This property is exactly what it says it is other than the pictures do not do it justice. It is beautiful. The villa is very clean & each room is decorated to make your stay even more pleasureable with its Hawaiian decor. The property is constantly maintained with the grounds cleaned & immaculate. The owners are great to work with answering all questions quickly & the payment is simple & easy. Access into the property is also a painless process.
We enjoyed several of the local beaches including Beach Club. They are also well maintained. The free Polynesian Show (hula and fire dancing) at The Shops was very entertaining & was just as good as the luau we attended in Oahu. It is a true show of the heritate there. Our granddaughter enjoyed the lei making & weaving also. The lady there was very helpful in answering our questions regarding the area also with many helpful hints & tips.
We liked the grocery store & purchased ready made food as well as items for cooking.
The grill was enjoyed by our family. The villa is well stocked with condiments as well as plastic items for storage.
We also enjoyed shopping in Kona at the open market downtown where locals sell their produce & wares. We found that souvenirs are much cheaper there especially if you will walk up inside a little & check out. The produce is wonderful. The people there are very helpful. No trip anywhere is complete without a trip to the local Harley Davidson shop for t-shirt purchases. They too were very friendly.
The closet of beach items is over the top. I really think there is everything you will ever need there to make your trip to the water wonderful. There is everything for anyone ages one to 100 there.
We enjoyed eating at Tommy Bahamas which is within walking distance and at the Shops. Merriman's was recommended to us before arrival and lived up to their recommendations. Being from Texas the food was different for us but enjoyable. We always try to live amongst the cultures while on vacation and enjoy what the locals eat to help in the vacation experience.
The airport in Kona is unlike any we have ever experienced before with its open air atmosphere. Online it says to report three hours early for check-in. Let's just say that next time we will still be enjoying the sights rather than sitting for three hours as we walked right in with no wait.
This is an A Plus rating and we hope to enjoy again in the future. Aloha !!

Excellent home away from home . Condo itself is well furnished , lovely art pieces , exceptionally equipped for a holiday...snorkel equipment , beach articles ,appliances . The grounds of the villa property are lovely and well kept . So many beaches accessible .

We had 3 generations there for the week, it was great. Our two year old grandson loved the lawn out back, it was an easy place for us to stay with him and watch him. We BBQ'ed most nights, the back porch BBQ was great. Scuba diving right at the beach club, although you should take the drive south of the airport for the Manta night dive, too. Yoga and Spa treatments, Golf, the beach club everything was first class. The bay at the beach club and the hotel are very calm and it made you feel safe with a young one along. For the more adventurous snorklers and scuba divers the cove is full of coral, fish, turtles. We did a shore dive in 25 feet of water there and it was a good refresher dive with lots of things to see. A wonderful trip, both the townhouse and Muana Lani were wonderful destinations..
