HOLDEN BEACH, CHANNEL HOME ON THE WATER, WALK TO BEACH

What a relaxing time! Joel did a fantastic job of describing the home, as it was everything he said and more!. weather was great, Fixed the crab pots (3), and crabbed every day, even tho channel water was cool, managed to catch 24 which was good for this time of year. Rope broke on 1, I thought "oh no", but found an old anchor in laundry room, and fished the pot back out LOL!!.added some new rope so enjoy your crabbing!.We planned on 3 days, but ended up staying 4 weather was so nice!. had an oyster roast with the downstairs renter on Sunday night. yummy!! Rent either up or down, you WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!! Can't wait to go back.. Again Thanks Joel and Dana for sharing your home... Jerry M.(WV)

If your looking for a true vacation, away from the hustle and bustle of every day living, then Holden Beach is the place!!. Our family of four wouldnt have traded this home on the channel for anything! The listing was accurate, the location and amenities were right on target. The property was also clean and well maintained. Great for fishing, and crabbing, (although we purchased live crabs) and the beach was a AWESOME bonus... We rented the 2bdrm upper level condo for a week and had the pleasure of meeting the Martin family. From the moment we met until our departure they treated us like family!! I want to say thanks to Joel and his wife for allowing us to went there home away from home. Our first visit to Holden Bech and we loved it. My boys loved the dock and catching crabs, shrimp and fish from it, they were so excited every morning to wake up to see what they had caught. Loved how close the Intercoastal waterway was from the house and loved the fact that we could keep out boat docked all week. I will definely be renting this house again and at the cost you cant beat it. Joel was an awesome person to talk to and filled me in on everything I needed to know from shopping to great eating places. We ate one night at the Seafood Barn, very friendly people and the food was great. The holden beach marina was where we vsited often for gas fill up and the people there extra nice. I am already looking forward to my next vacation in Holden Beach. ( :
