This totally restored Vintage Lakehouse is a stones throw away from the crystal clear waters of Lake Winnipesaukee. This is the house you remember from your childhood and the one your children will remember when they get older. 2,000 sq/ft home with hardwood floors, exposed beams, open concept living room, dining room and sun room all with over sized windows looking out to Smith Cove. 215 feet of water frontage with a large deck to sit and relax and watch the boats go by.The dock will easily accommodate a 27 foot boat. No boat? Use the 2 kayaks to fish or put around the cove.Easy walk to Gilford Beach or drive and we'll supply the parking passes. Great food in the area. Meadowbrook concert arena and a drive-in movie theatre are minutes away. Just a short drive to Gunstock Mountain makes this a great weekend getaway.

Location: New Hampshire < USA

This lakehouse sits on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in the town of Gilford New Hampshire. Gilford has a gorgeous town beach that is within walking distance. Attractions include The Mount Washington or 'The Mount', a large lake boat that stops at all the major points around the lake such as 'The Weirs', Meredith town docks, Wolfboro docks, and Alton town docks, picking up passengers along the way. Meadowbrook is a large outdoor concert arena and is a couple of miles away (meadowbrook.net) Weirs beach has all the rides and ice cream shops with lots of people watching, All of this is close by. Fays Boat Yard is 4 houses away and offers boat rentals to get you out on the Lake. Sawyers Dairy Bar is a great way to end the day and thats just down the street. Lots of fun for all ages. Notes: Children are welcome but please be advised we are right on the water. The lake house is one level living but there are steps to the deck that may be difficult for wheel chair individuals. We love dogs!!! We have 2 of our own!! But if you want to bring yours please call and we'll discuss it.

There's the beach, Fays boat yard where you can rent a boat for the day or the week, Meadowbrook with all its concerts, the Drive-in by Weirs Boulevard, Outlet shopping....its endless fun. Or get up early and take the kayaks out and catch some trout or bass. Listen to the loons at night while you cook up something fresh on the grill. It really is the way life should be!
