Spacious, well-furnished holiday accommodation on beautifully kept site just 20 minutes from Disney, ideal for smaller parties or those with young children. Palm Keys has a large communal pool complete with sunloungers and umbrellas, children's pool, clubhouse with veranda, tennis courts and kiddies swings and slides, and on-site fitness room and internet access. The property has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, microwave and utility area with washing and drying machines. The large living room has comfortable seating with TV, video and music system, and a dining area. The master bedroom is a double, the second has bunks sleeping 3 – a double at the bottom, single on top and there is also a fully-sprung double sofa bed in the sitting room. Cot and highchair are available and there is ample bedding for up to 7 people. Externally there is a car port and lanai - a screened seating area - with garden furniture.

This property is situated in a quiet, peaceful development on the popular Highway 27, only 20 minutes from Disney and within easy driving distance of the rest of Orlando's amazing theme parks, water parks, shopping and outlet malls and numerous other attractions. Within easy reach locally there are shops and restaurants to suit every taste - the nearest supermarket is Publix, within a few minutes drive, and the same shopping area also has an Indian restaurant and Chinese and Pizza take-aways. There is a large, brand-new Walmarts store less than 15 minutes away on the 27, and along this road can also be found a variety of restaurants and fast food outlets. Just a few minutes further on and Highway 192 brings a wide variety of places to eat, including Houlihan's, Outback steak house, TGI Fridays and Carribara's, and some of Florida's famous buffets such as Angel's steak and lobster feast. There are excellent golf courses nearby and both the Gulf and Space coasts are accessible.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The rental rates are the full price paid for the property - there are no added extras. Shorter lets than a week are available on application to the owner. Extra days of less than an extra full week (ie 10 days would be one week plus 3 days, 16 days would be 2 weeks plus 2 days) will be charged pro-rata to the weekly cost. Long terms lets available by arrangement.
  • A deposit of 20% of the rental cost is payable at time of booking, the balance to be paid 6 weeks before the date of commencement of rental. A welcome pack containing tea, coffee, milk, sugar will be waiting for clients on their arrival and the US agent will contact you within 24 hours of your arrival or Monday if arrival is at the weekend. A credit card deposit of $250 dollars against any damages will be taken by the US agents, which will be deleted on satisfactory inspection of the property after letting.

Notes: Palm Keys Village is extremely well maintained by the on-site agents who provide an ongoing programme of cleaning and maintenance to ensure that visitors to the site find all the facilities a pleasure to use. The swimming and children's pools are situated directly behind the club house, which has pool tables and comfortable seating, and there is the added bonus of a children's playground and tennis course. The agents also have a well-equipped gym and provide internet access for a small fee. This property contains everything necessary to ensure a comfortable holiday stay for the smaller party or individual family at a reasonable price. It is the perfect location to relax after a hard day at the parks or just soak up the Florida sun. The area is rapidly expanding and ideal for accessing all Orlando has to offer - all the main theme parks are within easy driving distance, with Disney only 20 minutes away. Nearby facilities include golf courses, restaurants, banks and supermarkets.

Our perfect holiday home in Florida

The directions were easy to follow and the property was just as described. It was squeaky clean when we arrived, although there were no cleaning materials, washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets for use while we were there. I would say it would be suitable for 4 or 5 people plus a baby, though it might be a squash. Perfect for two adults and up to 2 children. Publix supermarket just up the road, and plenty of places to eat within a few minutes, also petrol nearby. 20 minutes to Disney, and Target - fantastic store - on the junction of I4 just 5 minutes away .
Great pool and swings, climbing frame etc within yards, a lovely screened area for al fresco meals and very efficient air conditioning. Telephone (free local calls)and tv, everything you could possibly need. Just bring washing up liquid! Would recommend it and would go back, given half the chance!
Owner's Response: We are obviously delighted to read such a positve response to our property, and this is also borne out by feedback we have received privately from renters (copies of which are available on request). We strive to maintain a very high standard in our accommodation to ensure those who stay in our house have the best possible holiday that we can give them, and truly feel that Palm Keys is a great place to stay while visiting the Orlando area. Our thanks go to Lesley, we're so glad it was an enjoyable holiday for her and her family. To future renters regarding the dishwasher tablets etc I'm afraid it tends to be pot luck as to whether a previous renter has left some behind! They're not something we would usually provide as they are regarded as consumables (along with food, detergent for the washing machine and things like toilet paper) and wouldn't usually be included as part of a self-catering rental package in Florida.

What a perfect holiday home! Excellent location within easy reach of Walt Disney World and surrounding attractions. Very clean and well maintained it was just the right size for our family of 3. With a 4 year old it wasn't possible to do all of the attractions so it was lovely to have somewhere comfortable to chill out and relax. We actually spent more time at the pool in the complex than gadding about Orlando.

We would definitely go back there again and have recommended it to friends of ours.

Unlike some self-catering accommodations Palm Key is only about a 5 minute drive from Publix and 10 from the nearest Walmart Supercentre so any chilled food/ ice cream stayed chilled on the way back to the house...extra brownie points there!

Definitely well worth booking seperately and brilliant value for money!

This is no hotel, It's better!!!!!

I loved this place. My family just got back yesterday and didn't want to leave. we actually stayed an extra day because we loved it so much. It is a very peaceful place away for a the tourism. I just loved taking my 23 month year old daughter for a walk and felt so safe.

Two Moms & Their Kids' First Disney-bound Vacation

We LLLOOOOVVEEDDD our time in Florida and the house was perfect! Larger than what we thought and so well equipped! My co-worker and I went together and we both work in the rental department at a large real estate company and we both agreed that our owners could take some lessons from this home. Super, super, super. By day 2 we were already planning when we'd make the next trip. We're thinking same time in 2010 if not sooner. We had a great time without the guys, but next time we'll definitely want them to come too, if for nothing other than unloading the car. Haha We had a fantastic time and will surely be repeat guests. Cheryl in the rental office was just lovely and certainly helpful. Again, the folks in Delaware could learn from her customer consideration as well. It made for a very smooth and stress free transition checking in and out. Everything we needed was there and for me, the OCD Queen, the cleanliness was better than magnificant. AAA++++

Just what we wanted.

Leaving our booking to very late,we wondered if we would get what we wanted.We wanted to be near Disney,but far enough away to feel we had had a break.We didn't want accomodation on the 3rd floor that slept 12+.We wanted a communial pool for the children to meet other children on days away from the parks.We wanted supermarkets and restaurants nearby and help to hand if required.There were no reviews to read when we looked at this particular accomodation.I was concerned that the photos may be old and the accomodation may now be run down.I contacted the owners with a few emails.They were very helpful and on a gut feeling we decided that we would go ahead and book it for 3 weeks!! You must have a car.The directions were easy to follow and soon we arrived at the accomodation-it was immaculate.We instantly felt at home and through-out the time we spent there,we never felt we had missed out on anything.The management team were teriffic with all sorts of enquiries.The children loved the pool and we feel that the accomodation played a huge part in completing a fantastic holiday.This is a perfect for 2 adults and 2 children.(We left washing-up liquid there!)
