A perfect bay area location since only 14 miles from San Francisco and 30 minutes drive to beautiful Sonoma and Napa counties (California Wineries). Marin County's many beautiful natural sites include the famous Muir Woods redwood forest, the Marin Headlands, Stinson Beach, Point Reyes National Seashore and Mount Tamalpais, the birthplace of mountain biking. Our home is located in central San Rafael, in an upscale neighborhood and only 300 meters from the ocean. This detached in-law unit features many amenities and unique privacy. Enjoy private swimming pool, fun activities like ping-pong, basketball or just a relaxing afternoon enjoying a glass of Chardonnay wine.

Jean Charles and his family made my trip to the bay area effortless. Everything I needed was in this sweet little cottage.Wine,candles,blow dryer,sun lotion. So clean and surrounded by beautiful landscaping.
I highly recommend this experience.

This lovely place is really great. I can highly recommend this cottage for a perfect stay in the San Francisco Bay area. The property is more than well-maintained. Everything ist perfect.

Jean Charles and his family did really everything that we had a perfect stay.

Wounderful place to stay

We spent 5 days in this lovely place. It is really the perfect location when you stay in the San Farancisco Bay area. Very comfortable, warm, friendly. The owners provided a really perfect service and the cottage itself is wonderful.

Only 40 minutes to San Francisco by car and the advice to take the ferry from Larkspur to San Francisco was really great. The view from the Ferry when you arrive in San Francisco, the view to Golden Gate Bridge, unforgettable.

The perfect place to start day tours to other locations like i.e. Napa Valley.

Thanks a lot for everything. We enjoyed our stay very much and if we will be in the area again we surely will stay in this lovely place again !

Thank you for hosting me for my 2 weeks stay in the Bay area. The cottage was excellent with many very nice fine touches. Thank you also for your kindness in helping me out. I have enjoyed my stay very much.
