The living/dining room and bedrooms of The Gallery House display the original paintings of Fairhope artist Jean Lawrence. (Thus the name “Gallery” House.) The house is furnished with Arts and Crafts style and Scandinavian furniture. It is very cozy and intimate. There is a large screened porch overlooking the yard, and a fully equipped kitchen. Dish Network satellite television, washer & dryer, all appliances. Bed & bath linens, and kitchen utensils provided.

Fairhope’s downtown is celebrated for its unique shops and beautiful all-year floral displays. There is an art center and many galleries in town. Many musical events are held in the area. The new library, a few blocks away, is a great place to sit and read or to access your e-mail. There are wonderful parks, including the famous park along the bayfront which features the Fairhope pier, the beach, and the duck pond, as well as athletic parks for swimmers and ballplayers, plus tennis and golf, including some on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.
