The photo was taken in May 2009 on the Cowlitz River. During a difficult time of chemotherapy and radiation, I came to the river to be heal my mind, body and spirit. The sounds of the river, and the rich abundance of wildlife allows my parasympthetic nervous system to relax. It is at Wild Salmon Retreat that I feel most alive and I hope your spirits will be rejuvenated too.
