This beautiful beach side house offers stunning views over the sea. Sleeping is for six - one double and one twin bedrooms with en-suite, a third twin bedroom and a further bathroom. The stylish and comfortable living area includes a lounge with satellite TV, DVD and Hi-fi, separate dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher and microwave. A washing machine is also provided. The entrance gate to the property opens onto a very private courtyard with steps climbing up to a sun roof terrace which provides for day long sun for the sun worshippers. A downstairs terrace opening from the living area and providing complete privacy looks down on the beautiful sandy Arenal beach as well as giving panoramic sea views and a mixture of sun and shade throughout the day. A large public pool is 2 minutes walk away. The house is very close to shops providing all the daily needs as well as a wide range of restaurants catering for differing tastes and pockets.

EXCELLENT HOUSE/APARTMENT AND BEACH

In the beginning of June we had a lovely week in this excellent apartment/house.
The apartment was recently beautiful redecorated and restyled, is very well equipped, well maintained and clean.
The view from the terrace into the bay is absolutely splendid.
The sandy and clean beach is just a few steps down away and since May 2014 there is a brandnew wooden walkway around the entire bay.
The Copas restaurant, only half a minute walk from the apartment, is superb and the staff (Erica, Octaviano, José and Antonio) do everything to please you.

Short and sweet: this is a real holiday celebration!

AMAZING LOCATION AND EXCELLENT APARTMENT

We have just returned from an incredible holiday seeing different parts of the island. This location was by far the best and the apartment amenities were great ( including equipment for the beach). The local restaurants were so close by. 'Copas' and
' Sa Gavina' were particularly amazing, with fantastic service.

Our children (aged 1 to 13) all enjoyed Arenal d'en Castell, especially kayaking. Waking up to breakfast on the terrace was incredible and we definitely hope to return soon. Thankyou x

GREAT PROPERTY AND WONDERFUL BAY

We have holidayed in Menorca many times, this year there were two couples and one child in our party so opted for this property with three bedrooms and we bathrooms and its close proximity to the beach. We were not disappointed, this is a gem and one the nicest properties I have rented! The property is well equipped, there is a very large fridge with a small freezer - ideal sizes for the drinks required in summer. The kitchen is well equipped, we regularly used the washing machine and dishwasher and coffee machine. Having three bathrooms was a big benefit and the third bedroom (with en-suite) is "upstairs" which suited us as the couple with the child had adjacent rooms. Fans are provided in the bedrooms and these are essential in high summer, the pillows were very comfortable which is not always the case in Spain! The proximity of the property to the beach is stunning and the views from the terrace are magnificent at any time of the day. There is a good selection of beach equipment provided. One thing I have noticed over though is the negative effect of the two local hotels becoming "all -inclusive", some of the bars/restaurants now do not open till 6.00pm - I do hope they all survive and the local economy doesn't suffer because of this.

BRILLIANTLY EQUIPPED DUPLEX WITH EXCELLENT VIEWS

We have stayed in Menorca many times, once before at this resort. We were keen to take our son, daughter in law and two granddaughters to see the island. The listing and pictures of the apartment do not do it full justice. It more than fit the bill for us all. Very well equipped, clean and well maintained, Excellent position virtually on the beach yet near to excellent restaurants and bars. Despite this proximity to the amenities there was very little noise. The girls played safely on the beach and in the sea and we dined well in the evenings as a family and sat on the massive terrace for drinks and talk after the kids were in bed watching the sun go down over the bay..
Absolutely thoroughly recommended.
We will certainly return....

MY MOST FAVOURITE SPOT IN THE WORLD

At 54 I have been fortunate to have travelled quite a bit of the world, but wherever I have gone, nothing has compared with this beautiful bay.

This property is perfectly placed to enjoy spectacular views. Down a short flight of steps to the soft pink sandy beach, made pink by the coral reef that lies just offshore, and when the sun gets too hot there are two bars / restaurants about 50 yards away to take refuge.

The apartment has been recently updated as is now very tastefully decorated with a fully fitted modern kitchen and three fantastic bathrooms.

I thought twice before writing this review as I would rather the apartment was available for me next year and the years to come, If everyone knows how good it is, I will have to fight for my spot in paradise.

EXCELLENT APARTMENT!

It is very rare, in my experience, to find a holiday apartment which exceeds expectations. This apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable with everything working as it should.

The view from the balcony (and the roof terrace) is stunning. We ate most of our meals outside looking down onto the beach and the bay beyond.

The local supermarket is well stocked but a little bit expensive so we hired a car on a couple of occasions and drove into Mahon where there a three large supermarkets where (catering for 6 people) you can comfortably save the cost of the hire car.

We will return!

Arenal D'en Castell is a quiet, friendly family resort on the north side of the beautiful island of Menorca. The superb beach, one of the best in the Balearics, is wide and sandy set in a horseshoe bay, protecting it from the ocean whilst still giving magnificent views over the open sea. There are many bars and restaurants to suit every taste and pocket. Families are welcome at all venues throughout the resort. A range of shops, open long hours, provide holidaymakers with their holiday needs. The island's only golf course is at Son Parc, the next resort along the coast from Arenal. The island is designated a 'Biosphere' thus protecting the environment. Buildings are, in the main, low-rise. There is an amazing variety of wild flowers and birds on view.
