Description of the Oak Bluffs vacation house rental
This high-end perfectly maintained property is located in the exclusive Hart Haven area. Every spacious bedroom has a private full bath, with an additional 1/2 bath for general household use. No BRs are abutting in order to afford complete privacy for guests, grandparents, nannies, etc. This 3000 foot home is set on 2 acres and bordered by 71 acres of conservation property. Your rental includes access to the tennis courts and the mile-long private association beach as well as access to Farm Pond with the use of the association kayaks. On the first floor are the commodious double living room, dining room (seats 10), kitchen, a decked king bedroom ,1/2 bath, and the fabulous screened porch with gas fireplace and deck beyond, On the second level are 3 bedrooms/baths. The lower level has a family/TV/office room -there is wireless Internet throughout the house, but a desk/office set up here as well. The central air conditioning is a welcome back-up, ceiling fans provide extra circulation.

Harthaven is a private association removed from the road running along the waterfront from Oak Bluffs to Edgartown. It is completely a world unto its own, and yet there is a 5-mile long bike/jogging path only 6/10 of a mile away. Our private beach and private small boat harbor are the only combination of of its kind on MV. There is a 71 acre conservation area abutting the property with wonderful walking paths and fields, as well as association access to Farm Pond- 8 kayaks are provided by the association for exploring the pond or Nantucket Sound. The Oak Bluffs and Edgartown areas have festivals, street fairs, live music, gourmet and casual dining, fishing and sailing boat charters-every summer pass time that you can imagine for both yourselves, your families, and your guests- Oak Bluffs is 5 minutes away, Edgartown is 10 minutes.

- Each bedroom has its own private full bath. Any twin bedrooms can become king bedrooms, one of the king bedrooms can become 2 twins, as we have ' twin doublers', a sheepskin strip that covers the seam between the beds, often used in high-quality hotels. One can have 4 king bedrooms, 3 king bedrooms and 1 bedroom with 2 twins, 2 king bedrooms and 2 bedrooms with 2 twins each, or 1 king bedroom and 3 bedrooms with 2 twins in each- whatever works best for you! Bedrooms are set up as 2 king bedrooms and 2 2-twin bedrooms when you arrive. Every bedroom is in a different section of the house, none share abutting walls, and all bedrooms also have walk-in closets. The king bedroom that always stays as a king is on the first floor and has a private deck, as well as the walk-in closet and private bath. There is also a sleep sofa in the lower level family/TV room.
