Don't let anyone else in on this secret. This place is fabulous. Everything was spotless when we arrived and the equipment and the amenities were first class. The design of the house is wonderful--airy, spacious and cozy at the same time. The forest background and secluded location make for a wonderful vacation of relaxation. It is also a great place for walks and looking at the lake. The media room is great and has a library of DVDs and tapes. The design is modern and elegant and yet comfortable. The owners have provided lots of local menus and other sightseeing information. The kitchen was a delight to use. I did some laundry and we played some pool in the basement. The weather was a little cool when we were there or we would have lived on the porch, but it made using the fireplace delightful. My husband and I could go to different parts of the house and nap or read and not worry about bothering the other. Our dog had a great time looking for deer and other creatures. The area is also wonderful--excellent restaurants, galleries and shops, and a grocery store is handy right up the street with a good selection of food, wine and supplies. The only drawback was that the beds were not very comfortable for us, but maybe that's our age. It hasn't stopped us since we're already planning a return visit.
