Guest House built in 2005 sets on 1 acre of private property.

Owners live in the front house on the property

150 meters from Playa Grande beach.

Two bicycles available for rent.

Cahuita is an easy 3 mile walk.

Taxi available in town

Includes: 2 bedrooms with new beds and linen, Stove and refrigerator, Kitchen utensils, Towels, Fenced yard with table, BBQ area, Secure electric fence around premises with hibiscus hedge. Washer / Dryer available for a modest fee.

The town of Cahuita hosts several nice restaurants, clubs, grocery stores, Internet cafe,bank with ATM and the entrance to Cahuita National Park. Our home is located just 3 miles north of town on the beach road. The cottage is surounded by trees, monkeys,sloths, toucans and many other types of birds and wildlife are often seen on the property.. The beach is located just 150 yards in front of the house.

we had an amazing time in Cahuita staying at the lovely cottage!! everything was just like the pictures and description of the house. Randy was a great host and always asked if we needed anything but at the same time respected our privacy. the location was great, howler monkeys could be seen from the front porch and sloths down the road a bit. i will definitely recommend this rental to all my friends and family and hope to be back there soon!!

Thank you Randy for the great week we spend in your cottage, we realy enjoyed our stay there, we felt very secure. The beach in front of the property was our favorit.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was wonderful waking up to the sound of howler monkeys each morning. The beach was mostly deserted and we had it all to ourselves. It is the best place to be during the day, the breeze was wonderful. If you are not in shape, use the taxi the owner recomends if no rental car. There is no AC be sure to take camp fans. Evenings and mornings are very pleasant.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Off the beaten path!

We had an excellent time staying at the Cahuita Beach House. It's a little far from town and because we opted to not rent a car, it was almost a 3 mile walk back and forth. We enjoyed the walk and were able to see a great deal of wildlife in the process.

Unfortunately, it rained for half of the days that we were there, but we didn't mind staying in the cottage and and just relaxing. The beach at Cahuita National Park was really nice; the beach across from us was very natural and unkept with not a lot of people walking by. There were a lot of surfers as well!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers

This cottage,landscape, view of the Carribean, fruit bearing trees AND the Wonderful Couple who rented to us made this vacation the BEST EVER. The hospitality and welcome afforded us by Randy & Sandy was the icing on the cake. We used our cottage as base to tour the entire Carribean Coast. An easy 3 miles from Chauita with resturants, tours and National Park w/ so much wildlife we ran out of camers FlashCard space! We will definately visit again, for longer! 3.5 to 4 hr drive from San Jose.1 hr from Panama, $4 by bus. Lovely Paradise Terry & Terri
