Enjoy in this beachside home in Fort Morgan perched along the sugar white sands of the Alabama Gulf Coast. Experience the breathtaking views from the full front deck as the sun sparkles on the water. The screened in porch is perfect for whiling away the hours with a good book or enjoying that second cup of coffee. 'Sea Oats' is a short 75 yards to the beach, no busy roads to cross, no traffic to negotiate – and no need to wear shoes while you’re here. Kick ‘em off and relax at this laid-back beach getaway.

This 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom is a nice older beach home that features a fully furnished kitchen, full size washer & dryer, satellite TV, and all the comforts of home. There is a large front deck to view the beach, and a large covered screened in porch as well. Cozy living room has a fireplace for those occasional rainy evenings. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a half bathroom. Second bedroom has a full size bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. Living area has a queen sleeper sofa. We accept small dogs. This budget-friendly home is great for a single family.

Things to do in the area include: enjoying the gorgeous beaches and beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico, shelling, fishing, bird watching, hiking, biking, shopping, dining out, and more!

Nice House for the price

This was a very relaxing vacation for us. This home is close to the beach and far from the tourists. The home is older, but in reasonable condition. We were treated to Blue Angel practice on three of the days we stayed. Very cool surprise to see the jets using the beach for a flight line. The local restaurants were all very good. We would recommend the Sassy Bass for an excellent dinner. Also Tacky Jack's 2. If your looking for a low cost vacation home, this is the one for you.

Amazing Vacation

we just returned from an amazing vacation at this lil house, we are a family of 7 and had plenty of room. the view is amazing and the beach is so close, enjoyed walks on the beach both in the morning and in the evening without crowds. The overall vacation was awesome and a lot less expensive than most of the houses just 1 street up. Everything was amazing with the exception of the missing grill which we brought our own anyways, no outside shower as previously told but did have a water hose and the maids need to clean a lil better kind of musty smelling. Even with the above we would come back for sure loved it!!!!!
Owner's Response: Thanks for the review, I would really like to know who told you we had an outside shower as we do not advertise an outside shower on this website. There should have been a grill in the laundry room downstairs, sorry you did not see it

Stayed here once and thinking about staying again

We had a girls week away here. It is nothing fancy but it's clean and a stones throw from the water. We had a great time with great friends. I am considering taking my boys down and staying in this exact beach house because its affordable clean with comfy beds. Not much to do in Fort Morgan but if you are vacationing for the beach this is perfect.

Relaxation!

This was the best, most relaxing vacation we've had in years! Early morning walks on the beach were nearly deserted, and the sunsets were fantastic. The beach was clean, and not crowded during the day, although it may be busier during the summer. Fort Morgan is close, but other sight-seeing is a bit of a drive.But if you just want to relax, this is the place!
The house is showing it's age, but remains perfectly serviceable. Not luxurious, but if you want luxury, you'll pay a lot more somewhere else. It was clean and comfortable, although the deck and stairway need some attention.

Recommended for families who want to relax, but not for the night life in town.
