The cottage has 2 bedrooms with Queen beds. The cottage sleeps up to 12 people. The front room has 2 queen sofa beds. The enclosed front porch facing the lake has windows throughout with 2 Queen size futons. The fully equipped eat-in kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, washer and dryer. There is one bathroom with a shower. The cottage has gas heat and air conditioning, phone (local calls) and TV/VCR, pillows, blankets, sheets, and towels are provided. The lake front property has a lawn up to the lake, pier/dock, picnic table, lawn chairs, fire pit, and gas grill. There is access to a public launch. Pets and smoking are not allowed. The house is not handicapped accessible. The lakefront home is secluded and quiet. Water recreation includes swimming, snorkeling, fishing and water skiing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing and hunting.

Paw Paw is in Southwest Michigan, in Van Buren County. Paw Paw is a small friendly town with a hospital, stores and restaurants - some fast food and some family style. Visit the wineries in the area. Local festivals and events abound. Apples, peaches, strawberries, blueberries and asparagus are some of the items grown in the area. Paw Paw is 20 minutes west of Kalamazoo, and 40 minutes west of Battle Creek, 1 hour south of Grand Rapids, 35 minutes east of Lake Michigan and 1 hour from the Indiana border. Paw Paw is located North of I94 and west of M40.

Fishing at Lake Brownwood: Lake Brownwood, located in Southwester Michigan, is three miles north of Paw Paw. Lake Brownwood is about 150 acres, spring fed, sand bottom lake with a water depth of 70 feet in places. Fish include perch, bass, bullheads, blue gills, sun fish, pike, and croppie. Motors are allowed on the lake. A nearby river has trout and salmon.
