Tignes Val Claret Apartment Rental Photos and Description

These apartments are privately owned and carefully selected to provide easy access to both skiing and other resort facilities. There are two smaller flats to sleep 4 and a one double bedroom flat plus a separate bunk bedroom to sleep 6 in the Val Claret area of Tignes. We also have a flat close to the Funival in Val d'Isere to sleep 7, Property Number 9854.

All apartments are very close to the lifts, including high speed underground railways. Hameau du Borsat is ski in / ski out, while the Chalet Club flats are connected to the Funicular and Col de Fresse high speed chair linking with Val d'Isere by a short rope tow.

We also have Property Number 9854 in Val d'Isere, a well equipped apartment with dishwasher, fridge, four ring halogen hob, microwave oven/grill, slow cooker, kettle, radio, CD player, double bedroom, bunk bed room and two divans in the living room which sleeps three, all with duvets. Bathroom with shower and separate toilet. Parking available under the building.

Tignes - Val Claret, Hameau du Borsat - Sleeps 6: The Hameau du Borsat flat in Tignes Val Claret has just been completely refurbished to Tignes '3 Pillows' standard with all decor, furnishings and fittings replaced to a very high standard. The living room has a divan (which converts to a double or two single beds).

Tignes - Val Claret: In the Chalet Club, we have two studios to sleep up to 4. There is a pair of bunk beds and a wardrobe in the entrance and a divan which converts into a double or two single beds in the living room. Flat 51, which has recently been extensively refurbished, has a double aspect balcony facing South and West, while Flat 24 lacks a balcony, but offers extra space inside. Nice little apartment, great location!

Cosy little apartment, with everything you need for a week holiday. Nice balcony loaded with sunshine and a great view on the mountains.

3 persons is ok but 4 persons is going to be a bit crowded for my taste. As I am 1.96m tall the bunk bed was a little bit small for me, but I could managed. So keep that in mind if you are a tall person and need some room to sleep.

The apartment is close to the lifts and it's only a three minute walk to a sherpa supermarket which offers fresh baked baquettes every morning.

Overall this is a great apartment and the owner is also great to deal with. Quick response on email. Highly recommended.

Everything you need!

Great balcony which wraps round the apartment. It is small in m2 but has everything you need, comfy beds and great shower (hot and powerful) Great view of the ski slopes and 5 min walk to supermarket/main ski runs/bars. Good wifi connection and warm. Chris was very helpful in organizing keys quickly in time for my holiday.

Good value, clean, well kitted out

This is a good value property, clean and relatively recently fitted out with a large balcony. The owner was very good to deal with and responded to all queries in good time.

Excellent accommodation in a good location

We arrived to find a clean and well kept flat with all of the facilities required for a week in the mountains. Even though there were 3 of us there was plenty of room and with the added bonus of a large balcony. High recommended for anyone who requires affordable accommodation in Tignes.

enjoyed our Stay

We stayed in apartment 51, there were just 2 of us, initially seemed a bit small, but in fact it wasn't, it has all that is needed, we did take a slow cooker with us which was great to come home to after skiing and après ski. 5 minute walk to closest lift and bars. Skiing was great.Noise does travel through from other apartments but not excessively. Great views of the mountains. Apartment was clean on arrival, pull out divan was comfortable. We left on the Friday morning, so avoided the retreat from Moscow the next day (it was half term week). Second time we have stayed with C&D ski, definitely recommended. Antony L

Warm, cosy, great location.

The Chalet Club flat is very compact (typical of French ski flats I think) but homely and comfortable.

On arrival it was clean and well-presented. The divan (double) bed and bunks were comfortable. The kitchen has a combination microwave/grill and double hob, all work well, and is well equipped with pans and utensils. The shower room again is compact but has a fantastic, powerful shower and a big heated towel rail, very useful for drying ski gear. Four people could share this apartment but you'd have to get on very well as you'll be in very close quarters - furniture needs to be reorganized to seat four for dinner or pull out the double bed. It's very comfortable for two or even three people. There's also a decent sized ski locker downstairs.

It's in a great location, very near to Bollin/Fresse and Tichot lifts and easy to get to shops and restaurants.

There aren't many minuses although it was occasionally noisy - the sound insulation is good between flats but the block attracts groups of students who occasionally party into the night.

The owner is very helpful and straightforward to deal with, and offers useful information when asked; for example he explained where I could leave my bags during a day of skiing since I was arriving before checkout time. I have stayed in two of his properties in Val Claret and would certainly return if going back to Tignes.

Our flats are in Val Claret, the highest point of Tignes at 2,200m . There is easy access to Val d'Isere's skiing from Val Claret by either of two high speed 6-person chair lifts. The Grande Motte glacier can be reached by the underground 'Funiculaire' and offers excellent summer and autumn skiing.

WiFi is being installed for the winter of 2014-15 and is available for a small supplement. It includes access to the four UK iPlayers.

Ski: Val d'Isere and Tignes share what is probably one of the top five ski areas in Europe with a fantastic range of 200+ runs for everyone from beginner to expert serviced by 120 lifts. There is now a good choice of ski schools and this competition has certainly raised standards.

Tignes is the summer skiing capital of Europe but there are many other activities here and at Val d'Isere including golf, tennis, mountain biking, fishing, white water rafting, sailing, etc. Val d'Isere and Tignes are on the edge of the Vanoise National Park and only 40 miles from the Little St Bernard pass into Italy which makes a great day out.
