The cottage is 1/10 mile to Rock Harbor Beach and Sport Fishing Marina and boat landing. At the sport fishing marina you can watch the boats return with their catch from a day at sea, and the adjacent bay beach is wonderful and safe for small children to explore, and warm to swim in. Nauset beach, on the ocean side, is just 2 miles away. Rock Harbor was settled in the 1700s and retains an old fashioned peaceful charm. The Cape in the summer is full of arts and theater and programs for children and the national seashore nearby provides plenty of natural beauty.
