The cottage is beautiful. We came on an annual Grandpa - Father - Son week-end fishing trip. The cottage was perfect for what we needed. Driveway was long enough to back boat & trailer behind truck and get them off the street. Easy, short trip to Jaycee boat launch. Quiet neighborhood. Very peaceful location. Would gladly come again. My wife would like this, too.

The Eagles Nest was perfect for our family party that was near by.We celerbrated our 20th year anniversary at the eagles nest cottage, we used it for a quite get-a-way in the evening. It was an exceptionaly clean and comfortable place, with nice furnishings. Also it was very close to Pere Marquette, witch was beauitful. I would recommend this to any one with a small family who is looking for a great get away! We will be back.

It's not easy to get time off from our jobs so we took advantage of Memorial Day weekend and took the Friday off to make it a four day weekend. We originally only planned to stay Friday and Saturday night at Eagle's Nest but we were having way too much fun and decided to extend our stay a night. The cottage is adorable. Jane provides everything necessary for a weekend stay. We loved grilling out every night and ended our evenings making smores by the campfire. The beach is really nice and very close, but unfortunately the weather didn't agree with us and we didn't get to enjoy it. We loved seeing some of the wildlife (chipmunks! bluebirds!) that we don't get to see in the Chicago suburbs where we're from. Everything is maintained excellently and we had a great time just relaxing. I'm sure we'll make it back again in the future!

Cozy - Clean - Well Furnished/Decorated - Deer

We had such a nice time at cozy Eagles Nest Cottage! It was clean, cute and well furnished/decorated. True to it's name, it was very cozy. It's close to the lake on a wooded sand dune, on our first morning there we were greeted by 3 deer which were just feet away from us! We had a great time at Michigan Adventure and at the beach, and we took a boat cruise on Lake Muskegon and through the channel to Lake Michigan. Our 4 and 6 year olds loved it!
