At the top of the list is Newport Harbor's Christmas Boat Parade, which has been hailed as “one of the top ten holiday happenings in the nation” by the New York Times. For five consecutive nights in December, multi-million dollar yachts and boats of all sizes will light up the harbor as a dazzling array of holiday lights and music fill the air. Gorgeously decorated homes surrounding the harbor go “all out” with their own holiday spirit, featuring everything from roof-top animated scenes to dancing Christmas trees. You can view the parade from the upstairs balcony or join in the fun on foot. Throughout the summer months, Laguna Beach hosts its extraordinary Pageant of the Masters Art Festival, wherein art 'comes alive' on stage, and Balboa Peninsula Park offers free evening concerts.
