Nestled in the bucolic rural New Marlborough/Monterey area very close to the quaint Monterey General Store and Gould Farm's yummy Roadside Diner for great omelettes and pancakes. Just 10 minutes from the shopping, restaurants, live music, and cinema in Great Barrington and only 20 minutes from Tanglewood and Jacobs Pillow.
With an enchanting fish pond with waterfalls on one side, the Konkapot river rushing in the back yard, the amazingly lush wooded setting, and a large swimming hole with rope swing just a walk up the road, you may be tempted to skip all the amazing cultural events in the Berkshires and just let the tranquil location both relax and inspire you. If you choose to experience the great nearby skiing, canoing, fishing, or hiking the dog yard and doggie door will allow your pooch to enjoy the beautiful outdoors while you're away.
