We just spent Christmas here and loved every minute. We packed for a week and didn't go back to the mainland once. It gives you a real island experience. Not quite marooned because you've got mod cons and neighbours. So no shoes, no car and no money for a week. Just swimming, fishing and relaxing. The house is perfectly situated and we felt happy giving our kids a greater degree of freedom that we normally do. Weather was in the 80s and not a cloud for a week. Perfect.
