Description of the Carrabelle Beach vacation house rental
This home is located on 3/4 acres and is right on the beach. The beach is filled with birds and fish making those beach walks interesting and fun. Some of the best fishing in the area is found right off the beach in front of the house. A private beach shower with hot and cold water is most refreshing. The home is non-smoking and is all on one floor but elevated providing lovely views of St. George Sound and the islands beyond. Watching the sunrise over the water is a sight not soon forgotten. A large (900) square foot living room with gas fireplace and entertainment center, large kitchen, separate dining room, wrap around deck and screen porch make for a perfect house for the family or to entertain. Central A/C-heat, high speed Internet and free LD phone. Bring the kids, their bedroom comes with TV and VCR. A visit to historic Apalachicola to see the old homes, museum, shops and enjoy some famous Apalachicola oysters and seafood at one of the restaurants is worth the trip.

Beach Retreat is located just 5 miles from downtown Carrabelle with grocery shopping, banks, post office, hardware store, restaurants, marinas and gift shops. Buy fresh shrimp right off the boat on Marine Street. Apalachicola 18 miles offers more shopping and restaurants and a hospital. Nearby St. George Island has surf beaches and a wonderful State Park. Florida's largest state forest is directly across the street with hiking, mountain biking and hunting. The scenic drive through Apalachicola National Forest begins just 5 miles away.
