4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, sleeps 8

Located within walking distance to shops, restaurants, art galleries, parks, an open air fresh market, trolley stops and River Street, this property is in the heart of Downtown Savannah’s Historic District. Built in 1890 and once a corner grocery store, this completely renovated home can be rented in combination with our downstairs condo unit to accommodate up to 14 people. The main house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and the downstairs condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus a queen sleeper sofa.

4 Bedroom/2 Bath-

The upstairs rental is airy and open with large windows, high ceilings and spacious rooms. The entire home is on 1 floor, you only climb one set of stairs from the Entry Hallway up to the open living room. Original fireplaces, woodwork and heart pine floors are throughout this newly redecorated home. The eat-in kitchen has granite countertops and coffee is provided for your convenience. The living area also has updated amenities including; cable TV, a stereo system and free wireless internet. Bedroom #1 has a king bed, fireplace and built-in bookshelves; bedrooms #2 and #3 have queen beds with fireplaces; and bedroom #4 has a set of antique twin beds and built-in bookshelves. Two full bathrooms are conveniently located, one on each side of the home. (sleeps 8)

This historic home has plenty of free off-street parking right outside but shops, bars, restaurants, parks, churches, galleries, River Street and museums are all within walking distance.

Please inquire about my other property (2bd/2BA) located in the same building but each unit does have separate entrances.

Sharon was a great help through our entire stay. Any questions or problems were handled diligently!

The property was beautiful; just as the photos show. The bedrooms were spacious, just like she had said.

We would definitely recommend this property to a friend.

Our "girls week" in Savannah was made even more memorable by our accommodations at The 1890 Townhouse. We felt like we were in a private home; it was warm, charming and convenient. We were able to walk to River Street, City Market and all of the Historic District. The house was clean, well stocked and more than spacious to handle six women without "getting into each other's way". I would recommend Sharon Hansen and her townhouse to anyone I know who is planning a trip to Savannah.

Five of my college classmates & I recently spent an enjoyable long weekend in Savannah at this lovely townhouse. We enjoyed the setting and the chance to visit in the living room or kitchen area - but with plenty of room for privacy as well.Be advised that there are steps up to the townhouse in case of heavy luggage. Probably a good thing to work off those great Savannah meals...

We enjoyed a lovely stay in Savannah right before Christmas. The 1890 Townhouse was comfortable in all aspects: comfortable beds, fully-equipped kitchen, ample seating, wireless access, very close Kroger grocery store, and extremely clean and well-kept! The decorating and personal pictures made it very homey, and it was even seasonally decorated with a Christmas centerpiece! We had six in our family stay and we could have had another two stay with us very comfortably. We were in an excellent location and enjoyed walking all over the city. This was excellent for spending time with our family. This is a beautiful property.
