Downtown gem

This was the first (but probably not last) time my husband and I decide to rent a condo in Victoria for a month, in this case the month of February. We were extremely pleased with our choice. This condo is ideally situated in the heart of the downtown. It is well appointed and equipped and pleasingl for the historic nature of the building (high ceilings, exposed brick walls and wooden beams, lovely large openable windows). The manager was responsive and effective in dealing with the one problem we encountered, noisy neighbours upstairs. This is an urban location and part of the lively street life of Victoria. As such, it might not suit everyone but it suited us for its accessibility to shops, restaurants, the harbour, Chinatown, and the bus. It is excellent value for money.

A great choice indeed!

We've rented condos in several European cities so have come to expect some hyperbole when it comes to website rental photos. Not so with this property. It delivers on everything specified in the ad and more. The owners have taken great care to provide all the comforts one needs (except perhaps, too many remote controls). Location is within minutes to all amenities downtown Victoria, including bike rentals, great indie shopping, coffee and unique restos. (We'd recommend Tapa Bar on Trounce and Habit Coffee on Pandora). Our manager explained everything and gave us plenty of vacation tips along the way. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it without hesitation.

Perfect

My wife and I stayed in this lovely condo for 6 nights at the end of June. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. It was like having our own apartment right in the city. The condo is beautifully remodeled with all of the modern conveniences while still retaining the charm of the 1800's building. Nancy was a wonderful host, with answers to all of our many questions about the area and city. She provided restaurant recommendations, lots of brochures, directions, and even ran a special florist errand for me before we arrived. She made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The location was perfect for walking everywhere we wanted to go. We walked all up and down the water front from Spinnakers to fisherman's wharf. We walked to The Victoria Bug Zoo, Miniature World, The Royal BC Museum, The Maritime Museum, the Parliament Building, The Empress, Government House gardens, Craigdarroch Castle, Beacon Hill Park, Chinatown and a few breweries. We went on a ghost tour, rode the little water taxis, took a float plane tour, rode in a horse and carriage, shopped a lot (Rogers Chocolate, Murchie's Tea, Baggin's Shoes, to name a few). We ate at about 18 different places, mostly pubs, didn't have a bad meal anywhere, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The city was more beautiful and fun than we could have ever hoped for. We will return, as there is still much to see and do. When we do, we will stay here again! Thank you Nancy!

Great Condo for a vacation. The location was ideal and the condo was great. Very clean and looked better than the pictures. Nancy met us on
our first night in Victoria and trained us on how to get in and out of the condo/ She also provided tips on some restaurants and shopping in the area. Spent 10 here and never needed a car. Had the best whale watching trip(Spring Tide) ever

Great condo close to all attractions in downtown Victoria

My daughter and I stayed for 8 nights . A relative joined us for 4 nights. We were very comfortable with the 2 bedrooms and the sofa bed in living area,along with 2 bathrooms.

The kitchen had everything needed for a short or long tern stay such as condiments,spices and every dish or utensil one might need. Free wifi and telephone access to North America is provided.

A warn welcome was provided by the manager along with fresh flowers and a bottle of wine.She left written information about places to eat etc. and there were several guidebooks on hand as well.
Building is secure and parking is provided if needed . The condo is half a block away from the airport shuttle to a nearby hotel.

Everything in the downtown area is accessible by foot so one can walk to most places.
The description provided is accurate. The condo was immaculate. I would not hesitate to recommend to condo to my friends or use myself in future.

Kims Restaurant on Johnson was a highlight for food as well as the Red Fish ,Blue Fish truck by the wharf.
