Our 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home offers very affordable accommodations, only minutes from Telluride. Secluded 2 acre lot at 9500 feet, with fabulous views of the San Juans Mountains, towering aspens and spectacular sunsets enjoyed through our the wall-to-wall windows. All the amenities, including gas and wood fireplaces, large high-def TV, high-speed wireless internet and plenty of parking. At half the price of in-town facilities, you will appreciate easy access to Telluride's festivals and fabulous dining yet relax in peace and quite at the end of the day. World class golf and ski resort five minutes away. Bike, hike or just hang out at one the world's most visually stimulating resort towns. This is your home away from home.

Location: Our home is in the Ski Ranches, one mile from the entrance to Mountain Village Ski & Golf Resort. We are five miles from the town of Telluride off of Hwy #145. The town is accessible by road or by Gondola. We often drive to the parking in Mtn. Village (free) and ride the Gondola (free) to town. Most everything is in walking distance and no hassle with parking.

Our home is in the middle of an aspen forest on two acres of secluded property at 9600' elevation. The quiet is delightful and scenery of the San Juans are breathtaking.

Golf: Mountain Village Golf and Ski Resort offers one of the most picturesque 18 hole public golf courses I have ever played. The back drop of the Snuffles mountain range is stunning. The par 71 course is well maintained and at 9500' elevation you will hit the longest drives of your life.

Ski: Telluride ski resort offers 1700 acres of skiable terrain, 16 lifts, 84 trails with a vertical drop of 3500 feet and over 300' of annual snowfall. Trail difficulty is balanced and the children care and learning to ski facilities are exceptional.

Our Second Visit to this Property

This is a very comfortable, well maintained home. It is close to the main road and only 10 minutes away from the heart of Mountain Village. During our stay, in late January, it snowed almost 3 feet during the week. However, the driveway and road leading to the house were kept plowed every day. Firewood was provided by the owners. If you want privacy, away from the crowds, this is a great choice. We have rented this property twice and plan on coming back again, soon. The owners are also accessable if you need them, via phone or e-mail, and respond promptly. We called them to extend our stay.

Perfect Setting!!

What a warm and cozy cabin in the perfect setting!! We enjoyed the peace and quiet of this secluded cabin in the grove of aspens! We got lucky and hit the Fall colors perfectly. Your cabin was everything we were looking for and the location to Mountain Village was perfect! We took the gondola into town numerous times and enjoyed the views and the colors. The cabin was well furnished with everything you would need. We spent alot of time on the deck playing cards and enjoying the colors. Would definitely rent again!!

My husband, our two daughters, and I stayed at this home last year right before Christmas. I feel bad i forgot to leave a review. We had an awesome time in Telluride. This home was beautiful. Photos do not do enough justice for how pretty it truly is. There a breath taking view from the house of the mountain. We highly recommend this home. If we travel back to Telluride we would love to stay here again. Merry Christmas Mike and Lynn!!

Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed staying at your telluride house. I'm used to seeing someplace that looks great online, but have learned to lower my expectations as the real thing never quite lives up to it. This was NOT the case with your home...it was exactly as you advertised it. Beautiful, peaceful, cozy and spacious at the same time. You neglected to brag that the surrounding area was USFS land, and we even had fun exploring the local woods, a pond with an old beaver dam, etc.

Plenty of ground squirrels to chase, keeping our dogs busy and in sight all the time!

Snowy Paradise

We stayed for 10 nights at this wonderful property. The house was roomy but cozy. Really enjoyed the fireplace, so much privacy, couldn't even hear the sounds of cars up on the road. The kitchen had everything needed to cook any kind of meal your stomach desired, encluding many spices, and a little of this and a little bit of that. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would recommend for anyone who wants to know what it really feels like to live in the mountains! It snowed the 3rd day there, and we played like children in the fresh white sparkling snow. This property is perfect for any family or a group of friends who just want to get away from it all and enjoy the beautiful mountains of Telluride, we certainly did! We are from the Beautiful HillCountry in Texas and Utah
