Minutes from the town of Oak Bluffs in the upscale enclave of Fresh Pond Estates, this newly renovated and well appointed cottage is on 2 beautiful acres. The cottage is set back from Fresh Pond which is ideal for swimming, fishing and boating and adjacent to the County Road bike path. This Vineyard Style Cottage has a wrap around deck with built-in seating and Adirondack chairs and an L-shaped screened in porch. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and slate floor. The living room has a big comfortable 'cranberry red' sofa and 42' flat screen TV. The den off the Living Room has pocket doors and a trundle bed that sleeps 2 + comfortable chair and desk. The two bedrooms have King and Queen W Hotel bed mattresses assuring a restful vacation. The bedrooms also have wall mounted flat screen TVs and one has an en suite bath. All new furnishings, plenty of comfortable seating, ceiling fans, 2 bikes, wi-fi and Central Air Conditioning complete this wonderful cottage.

We stayed there during high season in August 07. The house was very nice. Newly decorated, renovated. Every bit of space used effectively. The porch was relaxing, beds comfy. You'll want a car so you can explore around the island....but there is bus stop nearby if you don't want to deal with booking your car on the ferry (it does fill up in the summer). The outside deck is huge and the outdoor grill is brand new. I recommend for a small family or no more than 2 couples. The owners let us use their bikes too. Very nice place. You'll be happy staying there.

Fabulous Martha's VIneyard getaway

This rental was a very nice home in a beautiful private area nearby Oaks Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. The owner was very accomodating - providing coolers, bicylces, etc. The wrap around porch was beautiful and the outdoor grill perfect. The home itself was completely updated and very well kept, with flat screen TVs in every room. I especially enjoyed the enclosed porch which I sat in every evening. My only issue was that it took a little time to receive the information on the house location, but all was fine once we did. As far as getting around, I had a car and used it to tour several areas of Martha's Vineyard, but it is not really essential to have one as the bus is a short walk away and the home was off a terrific bike path. My family was very happy with the stay and I would certainly rent this home again.

This is a lovely property and wonderful home to rent. Very clean and well maintained. Good amenities included with home (grill, washer/dryer, outdoor shower). Good use of space in central location for traveling around the Vineyard and wanting to see sites in different areas. Flexible and accomadating owners. Very easy to work with. Will rent this home again, our friends who saw the house also indicated they would rent it.

The cottage is wonderful, had everything we needed. A serene location, very clean,comfortable and privacy. The cottage is like brand new. The owner is a nice person who was very accomodating and flexible. We're hoping to stay here often.
