Waterway Cottage; Michigans Inland Waterway/River/Mullett/Burt Lake/Straits Mack

My Mother and I recently stayed here and were so relieved that it is as described and kept up very well! The cottage is better than pictured .Plenty of room for us and my Grandmother.The Bathroom handy to the master bedroom was a real plus for her since grabbing onto walls keeps her steady.Our visitors as well thought the place was real nice. The land lady Donna is extra nice and informative..She is like an old friend though you haven't met before. Her grandson was extra helpful in jumping my car when the Garmin drained my battery.. So glad he heard me knock since we had no one to available to help . The loft was plenty big enough for adults as well as children..Twin bed on one side of the divide and full on the other. Beds are comfortable too! Washer and Dryer is very handy and we were so glad to not have to eat out everyday since the kitchen was fully equipped!! Definately will return again...maybe when we can use the Pontoon!

My wife and I stayed here for a week in September for our Honeymoon. The cabin was incredibly clean and the location was great for sightseeing - very close to Macinaw City and Macinaw Island, and there are many state parks near by (the beach in Cheboygan State Park seemed to be the nicest).

The cabin has one bedroom on the main floor and 2 beds in the loft area. Donna is very helpful in providing information about the area. The supermarket is less than 10 minutes away. The TV was great, but the wireless internet signal was a little weak (Donna's going to work on improving it.)

We wish we had had a boat! Mullett lake is beautiful, as are the rivers around it, and there's a lot of water to explore.

My family loved it hear and did not want to leave. It was truly home away from home. We will defiantly be back. The pictures are 100% The owner is one of the nicest people I have ever met it was a pleasure getting to know her and thanks gain for everything.
