The condo was great, even better than the photos here depict!! We had a wonderfully relaxing month of October here. Loved that every window in the place offers a view of the water. The weather was perfect and we were able to sleep with the balcony doors open, lulled to sleep by the sound of the Gulf waves. My favorite thing about this condo was the huge balcony; since this is a corner unit, the balcony runs around the entire length and width. The kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, pans, and every cooking implement imaginable. (For me, there's nothing more aggravating than arriving at a rental property to find only a scratched up teflon skillet and a baking sheet. Been there, done that.) The gated property is very well maintained and always felt safe. The pool was the largest I've seen at a condo complex, plenty of nice comfy chairs. The water was a little chilly for my liking but our daughter and her friend didn't seem to mind at all. If you're in the Pensacola area, check to see if the Blue Angels are doing their practice flights at the air base. The show is a little early but well worth getting up for..and it's free, too! =) Fort Pickens is another site not to miss, it's just down the road from the condo. When you pay the entrance fee ($6 for a car, I think) you're given a pass that'll get you in all week long. We loved our time at this condo and can't wait to visit again!
