Nestled on two acres of lakefront property our vacation cabin offers guests a rustic mountain experience with the comforts of home. Artistically designed with a touch of whimsy, you are sure to enjoy this smokey mountain retreat! Guests can enjoy the lake from our spacious covered deck or by canoe and kayak. The lake is accessed by a short hike on a gentle sloping trail. This pristine mountain lake is a favorite for fishermen and nature explorers alike. Each twist and turn of Hogback Lake offers the paddler unexpected views of the lake, fauna, and wildlife. As evening falls on the mountain-tops a warm fire may be enjoyed at the outdoor fire pit. Sit around the stone circle and swap stories from the adventures of the day. Our Winter guest can snuggle by the indoor stone fireplace after an enjoyable day on the slopes or just relax and read a good book.

The Bear Creek Cabin was all that we expected. It
is designed and outfitted for a wonderful family
vacation. It was the cleanest and most tastefully
decorated cabin that we have ever vacationed in.
We spent hours on the lake and had a picnic on the
dam.

We also found the Fairfield amenities to be more
than we had hoped for. The pool and mini-golf
were voted favorites by our four year old.
I would recommend Bear Creek Cabin to anyone
that wants to enjoy comfortable, family fun.

Great Family Getaway!

Bear Creek Cabin was even better that we expected! The cabin was extremely clean and was decorated to give each room a cozy feel. The owner was quick to respond to questions before booking the cabin. Within a few hours of our arrival, the owner called to make sure everything was satisfactory. Bear Creek Cabin had a well equipped kitchen and we really enjoyed the gas grill.
The location is perfect for many mountain activities. We enjoyed using the pools, miniature golf, sauna, game room, gem mining, and other facilities at the Fairfield resort. We kayaked daily on Hogback Lake and caught too many fish to count. Gorges State Park is only a short drive (about 20 minutes) and offers great hiking and mountain biking with gorgeous views of waterfalls along the way.
I would definitely recommend this cabin.
