The property itself is was close to the Main Street as advertised and spacious. The listing is accurately described with regards to location and space. However, the owners were unfriendly, unwelcoming and unhelpful.
We were due to check out on Monday morning and went to Main Street on Sunday afternoon to browse the local stores. Upon our return, we discovered that they had entered the house stripping the linens (including our own linens from personal items we'd brought along). Upon returning to the house we discovered all of the rooms stripped down, we promptly called the owners for an explanation. The owner then proceeded to make accusations about having too many guests (we had 7), having too much luggage and ending up hanging up the phone on us.
Although one of the owners did offer up an apology upon returning to the house with all of our linens, the other owner had been so hostile and unpleasant that subsequently the damage was done. Our linens were replaced but they did not remake the beds and ultimately left a sour taste in our mouths.
Therefore, I would recommend reconsidering this rental and looking for another more hospitable listing. I will likely not suggest it to friends and family staying in the area.
